I think you cockblocked yourself... by worrying if she was single or not. it doesn't matter, by the sounds of things she was into you, and would have said yes (regardless of whether she had a bf or not)

Don't ask girls to dance, just dance. like the other dude said, single or not irrelevant, with that being said you got a built momentum to a point where she want to kiss you as well...You did good... When you dance do not try to get dissy dance in a way that will turn her on, a key move is you dominant leg in between her legs, like she is jumping a pillow but is your leg..

Ozzie said in his book "if she comes to the club, assume she's single". She dances with you, mirroring your moves? Come on! What more do you need? Once the kiss hits your mind, just go for it.

once i asked a girl to dance, and we danced, but she kept a long distance between us and i read her and kept it to formal dancing. i just asked her "can i borrow you for a dance" and she said yes. but then i figured out why she was so serious and non flirty - her bf came with drinks and said "thanks for keeping her company" i laughed and went to solo dance by myself. they were both cool with it. they saw i was a non creepy guy who just really likes to dance, i hope. they even asked me to take a pic of them with their camera later on.. but yea, the girl can always have a bf in the bathroom or getting drinks and she might not tell you cuz she is too shy or wants to make the bf jealous or get back at him..

I disagree with that, once you ask her that, it takes away from the spontaneity of the moment. After she said you were beautiful, just lean close and kiss her.
