I am a geek, completely. Big fan of the sciences particularly quantum physics, as such the thing that has helped me most was Cajun's view on inner game.

Quantum physics states that our thoughts affect our surroundings, this means in its simplest form that what you believe can influence everything around you, you are basically living in your own reality, which means a lot of things.

The most important of which is this, who gives a shit what anyone else thinks about you, it is not relevant, don't get me wrong, getting a girl IOIing you is awesome. But not getting IOIs shouldn't knock you, just move on to the next one. It isn't a big deal.

This means you can do whatever you want, I spent 5 minutes in a set in a Saturday night fever pose because someone commented on how I was standing, this had an excellent effect because it was so obvious that I didn't care.

So go out, remember that your perception is your reality, this means you are in control.

Believe that and you will be.
