hey this is my first post and really do need some help
i'm 17, from Ireland and about to get my gcse results

i sent a stupid message to a girl i had a crush (at first though i thought it was quite good, but my friends are telling me otherwise)
" i heard from a friend u weren't coming back next year which would be a shame cause i never got a chance to know you" this is the message and i haven't got a reply yet, anybody think i can fix this or have i ruined my chances

i only really know this girl on a hello and goodbye kinda basis. I've talked to her a few times but never for a long period of time

This wasnt a stupid message.

It would've been cool under other circumstances.

But for this one,it's gonna make things awkward for her.Very awkward.

Heart-felt messages are not a good idea.

Dudes get it twisted,thinking heart-felt stuff makes women attracted.

Your message made her awkward and she will be trying to duck you from now on.

I happens to all of us.

Humor is key.

Your message should've been humorous-not warm.

What should you do from now(since the damage's already been done)?

Play it cool whenever you do see her.

Easier said than done.

It would'nt hurt to send a semi-humorous message.

You'd left her with the impression that you're some weird guy.

A humorous message would kill that impression she has of you.

Then when she does see you,it wont feel awkward for yall.

So try to kill that last impression of you by either:

1)Sending her a funny/humorous msg.

2)Keep cool and pretend as though you never remembered the message.

Either method works fine(in my experience).

Dont mention the previous message.

Treat it as though it never occured.

The moment you come off apologetic,she has the power.

Write something totally unrelated to the 1st.message.
