yes true, it does affect your game. as far as i remember, bc i kinda studied it for university, black represents the establishment, so you dress in black to appear powerful, established, sophisticated but paradoxically dark, dangerous, forbidden.
(look all the models in cologne commercials, the classy ones)
blue is perceived as the color of work, it send's a "i'm a regular guy, i'm hardworking" message
red is for passion, it's an attention getter and usually people who wear it enjoy the attention they get from it.
bright colors such as yellow, orange, etc...show a vibrant, energetic, youthful vibe, observe how often the websites' designs are full of orange...
white is the color of purity, it's the ideal to show a down to earth, or spiritual side...observe all the ads with family guys wearing white button up shirts, and embracing their wives...
my advice is to observe publicity, commercials and ads are made by people who know that stuff, and observe your own reactions when you see a certain kind of man wearing a certain shade of colors
I normally game in black. Always black. I can actually remember doing an experiment while sarging online. One week I had my profile picture of me with a blue shirt, the other with a black shirt and sunglasses, I got 130% more profile views and about 20-30% response rate with black.
