FWIW, the only method I've so far got is to look at the back of the elbow; wrinkly indicates 30+ without needing to see the face.

As for too young, the best idea I've got so far is that group girls (girls who do anything as a single unit swarm) tend to be young. Any girl sat on her own in social situations is almost certainly over 18. I'd be interested to hear some confirmations/disagreement with those ideas.

You make a good point, sir. This isn't entirely foolproof, but probably a good first indicator. Also shows confidence and approachability in a girl. Then again, are still those women who stick with their friends all the time, even in their 20s.

i have the same problem as i cannot tell the 19 year olds from the 21 year olds.. its not a problem problem because i dont hit on girls normally, so its just curiousity.. but i did go on a date with a 19yo girl and i did not know she was under 21, i just thought she was pretty. but if she is pretty, chances are she is under 21 lol. asking about bars is a good one, cuz they will probably say they cannot go to bars cause they are not 21

Another thing I've noticed recently are the shoes. Where I live, school age girls seem to wear the same style of plain flats during the day. Older girls tend to wear shoes with some feature on them (eg. decorative buckle).

id say asking her if she goes to bars is the best thing to do.

if still unsure after it, i.e. she laughs it off or fails to respond in any way, then best do a screen.

To be honest her age shouldn't really matter, unless obviously your messing around the legal limit.

But if you really must know, just be like you have a tiger/rabbit/dragon personality, and ask her what year she was born in. All the animals repeat themselves in a systematic way, so it shouldn't be hard to figure out.
