How much do you thinking staying in shape and having a great physique work in your favor? Not like bodybuilders or any of that shit, but just a solid.

I'd say the biggest benefit would be the boost to your inner game -- it's a lot easier to feel attractive when you've been working out and KNOW you're attractive.

More specifically what I meant to ask is, how do women perceive this on the whole?

depends on the woman. Some don't care, but the hotter ones usually really appreciate it. Think about it, they take care of themselves and invest a lot of time into themselves, they are gonna like a guy who does the same. As long as he has CONFIDENCE to go along with it.

I am in college and have zero time to work out, or go out for that matter, but you can still be totally alpha even if you don't have time to hit the gym. I would say that it way fuckin helps if you can. You feel great, you look better and people notice that. That is why I fucking hate school, I can not concentrate on making myself better because of all the shit ( assignments) that keeps getting poured on me. :x :x

Yea, I really think it helps. Working out /getting toned has really boosted my confidence. For example, today I was taking off a sweatshirt in front of my locker and the t-shirt I had on under it came off with it. I had to drop everything, fish my shirt out of the sweater and the whole time I'm having girls comment on my physique. It is defiantly possible to be alpha when your not in great shape, but it's helped me.

I agree, whole-heartedly!

It's huge self confidence boost when you know you are in great shape. You don't have to look like a Spartan to feel like it, but it does help.
I noticed a drastic difference since I have been training.

If you want any forums or tips on getting better in shape - let me know.
I've done my research! LoL

HHHHHMMMMMMMMMM the benefits of being in shape.

Well besides the obvious health benefits.

women will look at you as having a health lifestyle and the fact that you take care of yourself. Its better ALWAYS to be in shape rather then out of shape or lanky. As posted before HB's8-10 are looking for a alpha male who is not only confident, interesting, funny, but will also match then physically. Having a muscular body to a women means you are going to be better in bed.

While working out there are tons of hb at the gym, and a million ways to start a convo.

HB doing lunges "thats it? your all done?" LOL

HB on the tread mill pushing all the buttons " hey let me help you wiht that you look confused"
HB looks at you
PUA "the manual is up at the front" (put your head phones back on)

Basically there is no down fall and it will greatly help, but its not going to be the end all if you never go to the gym, not at all.

Ok,

Here's the deal. Six months ago I got swept up in a case of one-itis, and only in the last month since it's ended I've let myself go. Does anyone have a good plan for getting back into shape? It's not like I'm starting from scratch by any means, and I just want a new fresh routine. Personally I don't want to have an overly muscular physique, but just solid like I was before.

Thanks

It's important in my view, and makes the process a whole lot easier..

Look at it this way.. Do you want to have to game chicks, or just show up and have them game you?

IMO, it's more fun when they're doing the chasing.

Seriously, it's just another piece of the puzzle, but an important one nonetheless. It's always a lot easier when there's some physical attraction on her part. Some thing's you can control, some things you can't. This is one of those things you can control to a great extent.

If it's only been a month since you've worked out, no problem dude. Just be creative in your own mind and switch your routines around.

Remember guys... it honestly does not take much to get into shape. Anyone that says they do not have time is lying. If you have enough time to search through this forum, then you have enough time to workout. Like Tripp said get creative. If you dont have time to go to the gym then do this:

When you watch your favorite show, every time a commercial comes on, do 10 pushups.

If you insist on surfing this forum instead of working out, then every time you open up a new window do ten push-ups.

Anything that pushes, pulls or strains your muscles is working out, and you can do anywhere. I think it was Voltaire that said "Give me five minutes to talk my ugly face off and I can bed the queen of france." So being in shape in be all end all by any means... but it does help.

I say any means of self-improvement works in your favor.

[edit]

Oops, you asked "how much" it works in your favor. :) All I can say
from personal experience is that it has a sort of placebo affect
on me. Even after only one workout, I feel like I can take on more
just by that one workout. I guess it's the adrenaline rush taking effect.

Diet, nutrition, and fitness have become important to me recently and
even though it is a slow process, I see big benefits from it in the future.

You just got to stick with it. I've found that scheduling your time is important.
