That type of opener only usually works in an obvious joke fantasy setting like.

"Weren't you my waitress on the titanic? I could have sworn that was you!"

THE REALLY DUMB ONES will say "huh?" "what's that? a bar or something" or something of the etc, but any girls with an IQ of over 80 will probably know what that is and say something playfully.

Don't take that opener exactly but the point I'm trying to make is when you use a real place like "Didn't I see you at *REAL PLACE*" your chances of getting anything but "nope sorry" are slim.

I do like how you incorporated some witty humor into it, but pick an obvious fake scenario instead and try that out.

As for the "Who is this??" on the wall, I've had it happen once which is why I message people first, then you'll never get that.
