I've been trying the online dating site thing for a while and I've found that it's easy to develop rapport and have some pretty fun conversations with girls and number/fb close with regularity but it seems like all progress is wiped away the minute you sign off and the next day/next discussion you have with them it's as though they don't know you. This is especially the case with Facebook closes where the girl has 500+ friends.

Any advice on how to consolidate the progress made during the first conversation or is this simply the online equivalent of fools gold? Am I supposed to cut and run on these girls when they show no more interest after the FB/# close or do I have to revert to plowing to pick back up where we left off and get the girls attention again (seems desperate/DLV)?

Yea, here are a couple of suggestions:

- move away from fb asap
- if you've number closed, text the girl, or call her (better)
- better yet, try to cam with her

HBs have dozens of guys contacting them all the time... They may have several conversations a day and -after a while- all merge into one...
The more personal you can make it, the more memorable you will be.

Yeah I kind of had the feeling that for every one "good" conversation I have with a HB she's having 5 with other guys. I'm definitely going to push number close and text game straight away from now on, Facebook is a waste of time for these girls, they click add and then will never talk to you again and even if they do the frame is entirely different than the original instant messaging via dating site. It's as if Facebook = friends zone.

Keep in mind girls also talk to their actual friends there, so when she is online there is a good chance she is talking to a friend she knows in person on there. Not just to other guys that want to get with her.

This is the main reason why FB is bad place to game. As the mindset there is on friends not on hooking up or what have you. This is not to say you can't change the mindset but a lot of times its more work than its worth.

Maybe you're coming across wrong. Whenever I open someone on FB, it rarely goes wrong - meaning she'll reply or stay in somewhat of the same state, whenever we re-initiate the chat, text or speak on the phone. The point is, maybe you need to work harder on your text game. Go pick up "Ultimate Guide to Text and Phone Game" by Braddock.

Another thing is, you don't HAVE to get them on FB neccesarily. Only do this, if you have a highstatus profile, otherwise it's just another link, which could be dropped.
