i have to admit that lately i've been one of many people who have used newbs in a derogatory way. i have no problem with anyone that wants to better there lives. i just think they're really taking advantage of the "i'm new card". there are clearly forum rules which i think majority of them seem to not read or choose to ignore. its funny though. i remember going through the mystery method message board and seeing how strict their moderators are with their rules. i would read through the "worst of " posts section where posters would be chastised by some smart ass moderator and i would think "man, what an asshole". at the same time i think blatant disregard for forum rules should come with some kind of diciplinary action.

i have compassion for all that seek self-imrovement help but people, please respect this forum.

I'm here for three reasons:

To better myself
To be an active part of the community
And of course, to help the new guys where I can.

Tripp, you are one of THE most helpful guys in the forum. Without people like you actively trying to help them, a lot of the new guys would flounder in their own questions. An experienced perspective is always helpful, and not just to them, but to the PMZ guys as well. Sometimes the best help someone can have is just an outside perspective on something. More people appreciate it than I think you are giving yourself credit for.

...Alright, to clear the record:

1)Yes, LA, I was a bit harsh on that last post. It was unjustified, and an immature move on my part. However, given the situation of PUAForum right now, there has been a bunch of shit happening that has signaled a downfall of quality and maturity on this forum. I am in no way signaling you out of everyone else, but after the whole EL/SC situation, the constant flame wars spiralling out of control, the question of legitimacy between length of time on the forum and post count, and the overall demeanor of the majority of PUAs here, some of us who were here before all of this are a bit questionable on the status of progression for the true PUAs here. I believe that you do know a whole lot, and have more life experience than I and others do, but realize that you, Rye Lee, The Doctor, and the rest of the big guys here need to realize that many of the newbies are looking for quick fixes, and, to save the forum from the downward spiral it's headed, you guys need to become more aggressive on the ass clowns and keep tabs.

2)I'll admit, I'm 18, and still a young guy, but I can honestly say that I am more mature than others my age. I'm not perfect, as no one is, but sometimes, I slip up. I see Pick up as something monumental and life-changing, and has become a essential part of my life. It's changed me from a total outcast to a fun-loving guy. Keeping that in mind, it would make sense to believe that seeing people make a mockery out of something many hold to be a life-changing experience is sad. I know that you guys view most of the senior members as snobby, elitist pricks who have nothing better to do that berate others for being idiots, but trust me Tripp, most of us were once AFCs. We were once willing to help everyone and hated those who berated us too. You'll come to see that, eventually, when someone threatens what you've worked hard to contribute to, you'll become adamant. It will happen. That's what is happening right now.

3)On that note, it seems that, you and the others advise those who are serious, but never take measures to keep the idiots and posers out. THERE ARE IDIOTS AND POSERS if you take the time to look at some people's posts. It's on every forum. I've been a member on other forums, and have seen the same trend. On Acmlm's board (A site for game hackers and those interested in developing computer skills), newbies forced out every quality hacker and game maker, and all that's left are 1 or 2 good guys, and the rest are retards. Newbies ruined Bodybuilding forum, looking for a quick fix, and TyP1N6 L1K3 D1Z. Newbies are ruining THIS forum, with, not only bad grammar and pointless discussions, but unnecessary flame wars and attempts to seek attention. This isn't a playground for PUAs to come and play. It is a beacon of hope for guys who never had a fucking chance with women, and are looking to help themselves gain a fighting chance.

Right now, none of us, including the "seniors", have the luxury to fool around on here. Until stability and order can be regained, there will be a rigid supervision and Iron-fisted disciplinary procedure carried out until, hopefully, there can be the point where we can all resume things as normal.

This isn't just me L.A. EVERYONE who's been here for a while feels the same. I know you guys want to help, and that you have stuff to contribute, but, there's no discipline or dedication left.

I'm not telling you to prove yourselves or become high and mighty, as I, nor anyone else, is better than anyone. But hey man, we have newbies who WANT to destroy this place, all to gain self-gratification.

So hey man, my bad for the berating, but now you know where I'm coming from.

We can keep doing what were doing, and let the forum die, or take some action, and make this place what it was in the beginning: Something GREAT!

well i'm not in any place yet where i can teach anyone anything that they can't look up. i'm not against giving advice to the new wave of "rAFC"s but its hard to distinguish the the people ready to work with the kids looking for the magic pill. know what i mean?

Become a moderator then. If you're not a mod, then stop yelling at the newbies, just don't reply, its simple, it takes even less effort. There are still plenty of good threads and you can tell what ones are what pretty quickly.

Welcome to the wonderful world of forums and "hip new fads". People eat the shit up and jump in without having a clue what is what, hoping for a quick fix, because they heard about it from a friend of a guy. They post maybe 10 things at most and then they dissappear, so just ignore them till then.

If this place is so bad because of the newbies, they why did you guys all come back at the same time from that other site? Why not stay there, to avoid the massive number of newbies on this one, because that's honestly the only difference. Basically everyone on the PMZ was a member of that other forum too, but we all came back, cause this one is better? How? Why? Only difference is the guys asking these questions and giving us the ability to improve from watching them. So either answer their questions like an mPUA as you say you want to be, or just ignore it and let one of us take care of it like we did while you were all away. Things ran just fine and I don't recall any flame wars aside from the ones between you guys and EL/SC.

You know why there are some little spats here and there? Its because these guys are kids, still in HS and aren't all grown up yet. You're not either though. That's not an insult man, its just the honest truth. I don't care if you've been studying PUA for 10 years, you're not old enough to have completely grown up yet, I know, because I only recently finally grew up myself and I've been living on my own and going to technology schools and working jobs for the past 5 years. I've had family die and given eulogies that made crowds cry and I have been called 'mature' since I was 8. I have hung out and been treated like an equal by people in their late 30s - 40's since I was about 12 and yet I only JUST realized that I'm now finally truly an adult at 22 1/2.

Oh, and I've got a crimson shield, so flames don't hurt me....

I would think the obvious fix would be to stop reading posts then? Or is the plan to force the entire rest of the board to act the way you think the board should act, that you think PUAs should act? Cause that would be some crazy social proof to sway that many people, that no one posts things that you consider "dumb".
