Okay, so here's what I do:
You're alone with her in the comfort stage. She likes you, and you keep pushing but you feel the more you push, the less responsive she gets.

So, I started doing this thing which is sort of like a freeze out. It's less spiteful and more playful, but the result is similar.
She negs you, or she brushes off one of your advances. You're still in a playful sort of mood, so you just smile and you say "Okay, I'll just ignore you then" and be completely unresponsive to her. Read a book, or text, or something. Don't respond to anything she says or does. You're the only two people in the room/area, so the awkwardness will be deafening. She needs to know that you're just playing around, otherwise it will just come off as being nerdy.

At first, she'll try to pretend that she doesn't particularly care. She turns away from you, determined to let you speak before she does. About 10 seconds later (it depends on the girl), she'll look back at you, then turn away again. The important thing here is to not give in, otherwise you'll 'lose', so to speak. A bit later, she'll turn around and start talking to you, making silly comments, etc. Still don't respond. Then she'll start poking you, repeating your name over and over again, like a young child. Her attempts to get your attention will just escalate - one time when I tried this, the target (Christie) literally grabbed my hand and placed it up her shirt, more or less forcing me to play around with her tits. This should be the breaking point - if you don't respond here, she'll just give up completely. Reward her with a kiss - a nice, soft, comfort stage kiss (no tongue). In this way, you will have escalated the encounter to a sexual one, and the dynamics of the relationship will be completely in your favor. From then on, SHE'S the one who has to get with YOU.

One note: When she's at the 'begging you to talk to her again' stage, but it doesn't look like she's going to try anything sexual to get your attention back (If you haven't had sex with her before, she won't), break it there. Don't leave it for too long.


Anyway, has someone thought of doing this before? Is there a name for it? Or have I actually thought of something genuinely original?

I think this comes off as AFC. This might work on a insecure type of girl but a girl that has multiple options/knows game could easily turn this against you and will see you as AFC. The reason it comes off as AFC is because this type of 'freeze' comes of as you punishing her for trying to be funny (negging) or denying your advance, and you never want to deliberately freeze out a girl as a type of punishment.

If this is happening then you are pushing too hard too fast causing her to be un-comfortable.
