My skin, naturally is pretty darn pale. I really, really need to tan. Just because I can tell women find me more attractive with a tan. I've posted my pix on sites like hot or not, and the difference between me paled skin, and tanned jumps as high as 3 pnts. I basically go from average to modestly handsome, my face just looks better, and my eyes stand out more.

Forever I've been using tanning beds, but have experienced some side effects, such as ugly splotches on my lips. Fortunatly, these can be removed rather cheaply and do not stand out too much. But am worried about worse problems in the future.

Anyone have experience with spray tanning??? I'm not looking for really cheap Wal-mart tanning cream, but some professional solutions, with good and realistic results.

Mystic Tan my friend! my girl is ginger and super pale she has some problems with tanning beds as well but the mystic tan looks kick ass it's like 35 bucks and no skin problems.

I can barely pass for 5'9" with shoes and a baseball cap on. I have a small frame for a guy. The only thing I've got going, as far as looks is my pretty boy facial features. The idea is to not ruin that.

The beach is sunny. Sun has uv rays. that is what I'm trying to avoid.

Just start on low doeses on the tanning beds

1 x3mins 1st + 2nd week
2x 3mins 3 + 4th + 5th week
1 x 6 mins every 5 days (20 days)
2 x 6 mins every week

Just build it up gradually and slowly and you probably wont have any side effects , unless youve got the ginger gene

Tanning beds a horrible for you, a spry tan is the way to go, mystic tan is a spray booth applied tan you look a little dark the first few days but after that it looks way natural, way better for your skin and way cheaper.

I gave vitamin-j rep points and will be looking into mystic. Thank you!

I've been using tanning beds for over 15yrs. They are horrid, I know quite a bit about them. I'm actaully going so far as paying $250.00 to get all the damaged skin cells removed with a laser.

I'm trying to avoid uv rays at all cost right now. Whenever I even go outside I wear sunblock.

I would go for the natural sun tanning instead of fake tanning .

Consider using a sun block with a low SPF. This will still allow tanning, but the skin will receive at least a small degree of protection from the powerful rays..
Gradually build up the time you spend in the sun. Never be tempted to burn, it’s a sign of skin damage.

Stay out of the sun between 12 noon and 3 o’clock when the sun is at its hottest. Move into the shade or cover up with a T-shirt .

Anyway it's your choice bro, but sun tanning is actually great and most of all having fun and relaxing on a regular day at the beach

Only get a very subtle tan, avoid the mistake of getting into the dark tan / bright white teeth look
