No stranger to the concept of fashion shows, contrary to you may think they have a strong influence in your wardrobe. I try to find the future in men's fashion store in the front, I embarked on a tour ending in Montreal, Canada.

I find men who stand out the most are those who don't over style and avoid obvious fashions of the day. A woman likes a man to look like a (well groomed/clean) man, and being too fashion conscious can be interpreted as needing to fit in or lacking in confidence.

In London at the moment some young men are wearing jeans that are elasticated at the ankles and canvas shoe type things. They look like ballerinas! Even worse is the fake tan! Spray on tans for men?! Not a good look.

As a few people have already mentioned; the trick is to look like you haven't made much effort at all. The easiest way to do this is to keep well groomed and wear clothes that are appropriate for the venue/occasion, keep it simple and well fitted and just avoid anything that is obviously fashionable of the day.
