I kinda remember a lot more users posting on this site back in 2008 when I first joined. Has it gone down? Or am I just remembering it differently, since back then the whole site was new to me? Seems like before, each section would be filled with all new threads every day or so. And any threads a week old were buried 4 or 5 pages deep. Now it seem like every time I check in, all the threads are the same, with the exception of newbie questions in the general section.

I know exsactly what you mean, I joined this site like little less then a year ago and I would say this, in the last month there has been only like 30 new posts in the lounge, out of this posts if 10 of them were worth checking out, it really seems that things are getting empty.

I dunno, how it was in 2008, but I saw that difference, escpecially in quality posts, that happened in only a year

Yup, I noticed that post count in the last month has dropped noticeably.

Could this be due to less clubbing in the summer?

It is because we have more sub forums for a start and we also got more strict in the lounge as to what should be posted in there (no questions but rather discussions on idea's and thoughts).

Sorry bought that. I'm not used to there being a pua lounge. Before it was a newbie section and a pua section, the lounge part of that threw me off, I thought I could post this there.

Also I doubt it's a result of the sub sections, because even going through all the sections, there still are not that many threads to post on. This is why older users have such high post counts, you used to be able to comment on like 10 or 20 threads a day if you wanted to, now there are maybe 1-2 threads worth posting on and they stay the same week to week almost.

I'm thinking that pua overall may have lost its widespread appeal. When "the game" became famous, everyone flocked to the pua message boards, but so much time has passed, that now it may not have the allure it once did. This may have become a niche group of people who are still interested in pua, even though it's not the "it thing" to do.
