I would give her compliments, especially about her positive side like she's good at cooking or study hard, in front of other people like my friends that she hasn't met yet. This actually helps encourage one of my girlfriend to do better at it and she starts opening more cook book and starts to cook dinner for me from time to time.

But if there's only two of us, I rarely gave her compliment unless she'd done something that I consider worth giving a compliment.

I'm not sure if ur not in a relationship, though....

yea dude I agree with the other posts compliment her and you can use compliments to train her if needed by acknowledinging and rewarding her good behaviour :for example if she does something thoughtfull reward that behaviour specifically if you want more of it.Works wonders on girls used to getting their own way or selfish moody girls in time so should be great on a nice girl.
