| I watched Adam Lyons' video on Negative Attraction. That 37 minute video made see why AFCs don't get bad girls, pouting princesses, or pissed prudes.
Two days ago, I boarded a bus and greeted the bus driver [female].
Her response was, "mmm, hhh". She was decent-looking, but not my cup of tea.
The AFC in me said she had a bad morning, probably before she left home.
We drove along, and were less than 800 feet from the bus terminal when she made a very wide turn, which caused a pickup truck to move back. A passenger told the bus driver she couldn't drive. The bus driver retorted the customer couldn't drive. The passenger shot back, "You don't know that!" And so began a heated arguement until the passenger got off the bus to board another bus.
The AFC in me wanted to console the bus driver, tell her to put that passenger out of her mind, tell her the day will get better.
Remembering how that always played out in the past, I opted for Negative Attraction.
Me: Are you going to get your friend an application.
Her: My friend?
Me: Your bus driving friend. The one who said she could drive.
Me: I can't stand when someone tries to tell me how to do my job.
Let me tell you, the bus driver smiled and lit up! She launched into a conversation with me that lasted nearly 20 minutes! She even went against something she said. She didn't feel bus drivers had to start or maintain conversations with passengers.
Well...she maintained a conversation with me, and wanted to keep it going, even as I got off the bus. _________________ "You can't win, but there are alternatives to fighting." - Obi Wan Kenobi, Star Wars
