Calling all day gamers...

I'm brand new to the game - 25 approaches so far, no numbers, no closes of any kind. Basically learning how to cold approach and build rapport right now. IOW: almost as new and inexperienced as you can possibly be.

I'm working on my day game so the major problem I have right now is this: Where the hell do women congregate during the day? There is one excellent location for day time approaches about one half hour from where I live. As I go out and approach maybe four or five times a week I'd like to have a good seven or eight locations to visit. Figuring out where to go, and what to do once I get there, has been a big problem for me lately.

Here are some ideas I have:

Colleges
Malls and other shopping centers
Beaches
Museums
Downtown (street)
Cafes
Parks

Any other places you guys like to visit?

Do you guys ever visit these places JUST to pick up, or do you only go to these places when there is a reason to do so that is actually related to the location? (For example, going to the mall because you need to buy something, going to the museum because you are actually interested in the exhibits, etc.).

About how much time do you spend there and what do you do while you're there? The place that I like to visit (the one that's about a half hour from here) is pretty big - basically two sprawling college campuses spread across a section of town that is almost entirely inhabited by college students. You can walk around for hours there without attracting much attention. A place of that size also affords you some anonymity - no one's going to watch you fuck up your approach, you know what I mean? An inside location, like a mall or cafe, would be different.

All in all, looking for some understanding of day game logistics. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys and happy hunting.

I have gone out to places just to pick up, but most of the time it's just coincidental. I see a girl while I'm out doing stuff and approach. The beach is my best bet since my city is supposedly "The worlds most famous beach", so there's always some tourist type girls there.
Honestly, for day game, picking up tourists is probably the easiest thing to do, since they don't know where anything is and you can # close by saying you'll show them some of the hotspots in town and then set up a day 2.

Time spent is different, if I'm just going out to pick up I'll spend maybe an hour or two walking around and opening sets and meeting people, otherwise I just do what I have to do and open however many sets I can until I'm done.
