ok. so i met this new girl and she seems pretty into me, but i just got done texting her and im wondering if i just weirded her out. im just gonna tell u guys the exact conversation. lol. here it goes

Me: hey. lol.
Her: Hiiya. whats up?
Me: nothing much. just on my laptop. u? lol.
Her: just about to lay down.
Me: thats cool. so tell me something interesting about u. lol.
Her: hmmm.. I wanna go to an art school for college.
Me: lol. cool. u know what?
Her: what?
Me: I wanna go to an art school to! maybe well b in the same school. and i bet i can guess some very cool and interesting things about you. lol.
Her: thats awesome and go for it!
Me: ur mentally adventurous and u search for self fulfillment. u have a sunny and shrewd personality. i could do a lot more but weed have to play this little game. its called the cube. lol.
Her: Oh haha nice
Me: ya. lol. and im not stalking u i promise. lol.
Her: I know haha
Me: Ya. so whats ur familly like? lol.
Her: amazing. like really nice and laid back. wbu?
Me: Same. lol. theyre very nice and laid back.
Her: Sweet
Me: ya. hey could u do me a huge favor? lol.

Me: Can u look at my profile pic and tell me if i should keep or delete it. one of my friends says i should keep. and the other says i should delete. and i need a tie braker. lol.

and idk if i weirded her out with the cold read. i know i got it right but idk if it weirded her out. and if it did weird her out what can i do to try to fix it? thanks guys. and also just critique this conversation please. thanks guys.

Dude, I think since you texted it to her she might seem a little weirded out, you should have waited until you were in person to try that one out

You should of put a False Time Constraint at the start, instead of saying

" nothing much. just on my laptop. u? lol. "

You should have said,

" nothing much. just on my laptop. u? lol btw, gotta go in a sec watching a movie/got a friend over. "

And at the end you asked her, if she wanted you to text her back, instead you should of left that part out after saying,

" i'm going to bed now. "

And let her be the last one to text you, and wonder when you are going to text her back

Not to sound like a dick, but you texted "lol" in literally EVERY text. I know that isn't a huge issue, but I find that a little annoying. Can you imagine talking to someone who giggles or laughs after EVERY thing they say? It'd be hard to take them serious.

And I agree, I think the cold read over texts might have been a little out of place. I would have waited until I met her in person. I wouldn't worry too much about fixing the problem though. You have done the damage(and honestly it doesn't sound like a huge issue) so let it go. I wouldn't do that again though. But what do you find about cold-reading to be successful or want to do it? I honestly do not know what it is that people find with this approach/technique. Care to explain?

You're doing fine. if she was scared off, she wouldn't have continued texting you.

I agree that you should have done cold reading in person. Always. Makes it feels like connection instead of "I know something about you."

In a sense, if she was "weirded out", that's the point of a cold read, right? I wouldn't have said "guess", though. It shows that you're not confident, and are assuming things, rather than looking deeply into who she is as a person.

Why are you lol'ing that much ?!

If you ask a question like that the answer is usually yes, and in this case it is. Cut the ".lol." completely out of your vocabulary, replace it with haha, and use it sparingly because it won't mean anything if you use it all the time. I also see that you're writing alot more than her, try not to write as much. Short and simple, but make sure you get your point across. Online game is a learning experience like anything else, if this girl doesn't pan out consider her a cheap workbook. Go online and find another cheap workbook that will teach you different stuff. To have major success you're going to need to run through alot of cheap workbooks, but take in mind that this does not mean that you won't find success in your learning process. Good Luck!
