Ok. This is kinda wack. I messaged a chick I liked on ok cupid. She claims to be 31, single and in my city. We exchange a few emails, the vibe is good, and then she just goes, "btw, I'm 35 not 31, and I live in [city x] not where you live." City x is like 45 mins away.

She's a 9, despite her age, but I'm thinking I might have to walk away just due to the lying. Thing is, she just asked me for my number and said she'll be in town next weekend. What would you do?

Women are going to lie about stuff like age and weight. That's never really been a problem for me. Bring up once that you didn't like that she was lying to you, or throw it into a joke once, then drop it.

It's not that big of a deal yet. She did come up front and tell you the truth without you prying. Just let her know that you don't appreciate lying and that you're going to always be upfront with her and expect the same. Then smile, and go out to have an awesome time!

If this persists, though, it may not just be self-consciousness, but that she's trying to keep things from people. A girl like this is too guarded to usually have real fun with, so don't be afraid to drop her if it keeps occurring.

Honestly I had never thought of it like this. 4 years seems like a pretty big fib. But ok. She gave me the usual 'I still get carded sometimes' line so you're onto something about the self-consciousness.
