Just saying Hi?

So far I've only used canned openers. But I always read some puas say things like ''Forget the openers, just open with Hi!!'' or ''people overcomplicate things, just say hi''

I'm going to start day gaming soon and wanted to try just saying hi.
So how do I start a conversation by saying hi and make it not turn afc like ''what are you drinking'' etc (Without canned openers ofc)

You can open with hi, this would almost definitely lead to direct game, but be aware that everyone wants to figure out why you're talking to them in the first few seconds. Be ready to jump into something that will capture her attention.

PUA: Hi!
HB: Um, hey
PUA: Listen, since you seem friendly, I need some help here, my roommate just broke up with his girlfriend blah blah blah

Since you initiated the conversation, it is your responsibility to make sure it goes somewhere from the start, don't ask questions and expect her to carry the talk.
