Hey guys, I'm pretty new to this and would like some opinions.

I know beards look good on some and bad on others. I've had girls tell me to shave it and others compliment me. When I first grew the beard it gave me a little more confidence but now I don't think twice about it. It's getting pretty hot so I'm probably going to shave it off but I figure why not get your opinions?

it looks good man, but have it more even.. the thicker part on the goatee section makes you look older... like 30+

Thanks for the comments guys. I've actually trimmed it considerably since that photo so the bottom part doesn't go down that far.

Also, I had another thought. I know when we're learning game we have to stop believing what women "say" they want. Women tend say they like clean-shaven faces, but then again if my beard makes me more masculine and stand out a little bit then I think it is a positive thing. No girl is going to reject me because of facial hair (unless it's a mess), it will be because of other circumstances or some lack of confidence.

Having read you final comment you seem to understand the most important thing about women in general.

What they want and what they respond to are 2 separate things.

They want Masculine men.

They say they don't like beards.
But you know that is not true.

If have never had a women tell me to shave my beard.
I know for a fact masculine men intimidate some women.
They no they have no power at all over a very masculine man.

They try to grab it.
Female kino of the beard is all good.

I think the look suits you.
If you look older and uglier because of it, fucking supurb.

The amount of men that have severe beard envy is amazing.
Because they can't grow one.

Your point about rejection is spot on.
The last thing it will be is the beard.

true that... have you ever seen a girl and decided you didnt want her because of something like.. a hairstyle? probably not, unless you have a fetish or something for it.... its just a small factor and shouldnt affect too much

The picture without the beard is a little small so kind of hard for me to judge. However, from the looks of it I would say stick with some facial hair but definitely manage it. Have you tried going with the 1-3 day of growth look? That's my personal favorite, I don't like letting it grow too long but I don't like the clean shaven look either. Just make sure to take care of it the same way you would a full beard, make sure to keep it trimmed up, don't let it grow too long, I might be alone on this one but I also use shampoo and conditioner on my beard as well as my hair.

Spyder, I'd love to sport a 5' o-clock shadow, but when I have only a couple days of growth it's too patchy for that.

John Changmai, some good thoughts there. Pop culture tells women (and men) what to be attracted to. Now it's clean-shaven, no body hair but before masculinity was in like the old James Bond. But that primal level that has taken generations to develop is the same. Now, if some hair makes a guy more masculine or just feel more masculine, it's all golden.
By the way I'll be going to your namesake in a few months.

Having trimmed a lot of my beard the night I posted this, I like the new look and hopefully it won't be too hot this summer.

In general for me, ive noticed i get checked out a lot more often when my face is almost naked, or my beard is much smaller. Just my own observation. Like you said if they reject you its not gonna be the beard, but they just might not open you

Beards are in my friend just check out this 2011 sexiest men lineup http://www.glamourmagazine.co.uk/celebr ... -number=19

Looking at mainstream sex icon's is a good way to train your style skills and give you an example of the image being sold to women. This is making me think twice about cutting my hair/beard for my sis's wedding this week.

The beard you have looks a lil patchy IMO. Just trim it down to an even length the whole way. I personally dont do goatees because it takes too much work to even out, so you might as well go full on.

If I had to pick between your two pics, I'd go with the clean shaven.

They say they don't like beards.
But you know that is not true.
Good words, I grew my beard in highschool when me and my gf (ex now) were seperated for a while and over the phone she kept on telling me it was going to be bad and that she wasn't going to like it and I would have to shave for her. Grew it anyways and what happened? When she saw it she liked it and "gave me permission to keep it". Didn't matter much to me anyways, I liked it and thats all that mattered to me. Shaved it recently cause I thought it would help my game but after reading these posts I'm gonna grow it back out cause I think it will help my game as long as I keep it tidy.
