I was wondering how other guys were doing with Craigslist. I live in a small college town and I've got a couple dozen real responses, two lays, and one girl who backed out but smoked me up first. This was over the course of the last year, It's a numbers game, but requires zero effort. I find that posting to m4w is better than casual encounters. Anyone have other thoughts?

Have you tried "strictly platonic"? I haven't tried it myself but it gets a lot less traffic (i.e. less competition) and girls use it to weed out the "creeps".

Do you have a standard message that you post regularly?

I didn't even think of strictly platonic, but I'm going for one time hook ups, so It wouldn't work for what I want. Two important thing I forgot to mention, my first lay from craigslist was when I responded to the girl's ad, and the other thing I've found is that ads have to be up for a while to get real responses, generally, at least a week. I've experimented with a bunch of different ads, the one I'm using now is based on an article I read on another PUA site, have to give credit, so I'll try to find the link.

The Ad:

Subject: Run Away, Little Girl
I'm a selfish asshole, I don't want to get to know you, I don't want to pretend what your saying his interesting, I just want to fuck you. I'm 5'7, ridiculously handsome, and probably more then you could handle sexually. You should be thin, have a nice chest, and the submissive type in bed. If your unsure, don't even bother responding, I'm only looking for a girl who knows what she wants.

I'm not sure how effective it is yet. I got one response from a pretty hot girl, but nothing came from it. I got another response from an average looking girl who was hooked instantly, but unfortunate, I'm no longer in the city where I posted the ad.

I tried a variation of the personal add above as a response to a girl on plenty of fish, and it seems to work wonders!

none of what i said was my own words, but it seems to work. but what do i say to that? i mean, is she testing me or should i continue acting like an asshole? sometimes acting like an asshole works, but with some girls they stop talking if I play it out too long
