I very recently discovered this forum, so this post will also be my introduction.

I was at a gay bar yesterday with some friends. I have a few gay friends, and I find myself in gay bars often, which I think are great places to meet beautiful women. My assumption is always that all the guys there are gay. I know this is not the case, but it helps my mind-set to approach the girls I find attractive without freezing by wondering if one of the 10 good looking fashionable guys surrounding them is a boyfriend.

Anyhow, I started talking to this girl and the guy who was standing next to her. She was attracted to me and at one point even put her necklace on my hand, getting her face really close to mine. Now, I was flirting with her and escalating, and the guy was clearly very annoyed but doing absolutely nothing. I kept on flirting back and trying to figure out if they were bf/gf or if they had just met. It seemed to me they were in a second date.

Anyhow, she was really cute and totally my type, but I ended up walking away because (a) I was starting to feel a bit like a douche and (b) I did not know how to progress or what to do to get her number. I think that dude would've pissed his pants before leaving us two alone by going to the bathroom.

What do you guys do in this type of situations?

If she never mentioned that she has a bf, then you should not worry about this.

Probably the guy is just a friend of her. Of course he tried to game her, but didn't succeed. An AFC definitely.

I am pretty sure they were on a date. Though maybe it was a first date.

He did end up making out with her, and they left together.
