hey man! when you're on the dancefloor YOU got to be the MAN, the Attantion!! MAybe learn some funny moves or so (its easy you can learn a lot on youtube ) so thats how you get the attention and maybe some smiles from the dancing HB's. When you approach them, do it in a different way than all the other guys who just try to have dry-sex (im sure u know what i mean)
you have to push and pull, tease her, move in like you'd kiss her and turn away again, turn her around, dance from different angles and not just from behind... after you really got her you can start the dirty-dance and isolate--->close

I dunno, a well placed dance move from the past can work wonders if you aren't on a packed floor. I like to break out The Swim, The Lawnmower, The Running Man. If you do them with the right attitude and especially if you get a guy friend of a set having an old school dance off with you, then it can work wonders. Shows you're fun and you don't take yourself too seriously.

true, I do see where it can work at times but I'm skeptical, I think the 5's and 6's might be susceptible to it, but are the 8's, 9's and 10's gonna take you serious if you look like a dork dancing... I don't know, if you've ever seen Hitch you know what I'm talking about, ... "here's where you are, all night, thats you, nothin else..."

Nah, its all just about knowing when to use it and owning the frame. If you own the fram and other people are living in your frame, then they're gonna accept basically whatever you do. By doing this, you show that you don't take life to seriously and you know that you're cool, you don't need other people's approval. Also, everybody likes to just act like a dork now and then, so when you start doing this, it gives people permission to join in and act silly too, which they'll love you for. I've used the old school moves in the company of 9's before and they sat rapt while me and one of their friends busted out as many old school moves as possible and they clapped and cheered us on.

Dancing like a dork lowers your social value! If your going to go to extremes of lowering your social value, all it does is show that your desperate for attention.

Try peacocking yourself, lock yourself into a set, and make yourself centre of attention.
Dancing like a dork might get the attention of your target, but by doing that, your completley ruining the whole room! Not only that, your proving to the target that your willing to do anything. The expression "dance monkey dance!" comes to mind.
Anybody can act like a dork. Real PUAs maintain their respect by making their target interested in them!

That didn't address anything we have said so far....
I saw an amazing video of these black guys doing crazy dance moves and it was synced up with Around The World on Ctrl+Alt+Del the other day. Dunno if anyone reads that webcomic and might have seen it (the server is down at the moment, but I'll try to link the vid later) but I think that would go pretty amazing at a rave or an electronic club.

I guess I really should have stated that I don't do those old school moves to new rock generally. I'm not doing the lawnmower to Crazy Bitch by Buckcherry....although......
