It's not a good, sustainable programme.

If you want real exercise, that is sustainable, go for something like HIT (Body By Science, Renaissance Exercise, or similar) or sub-variants of that, like the Reverse Pyramid detailed here: http://www.leangains.com/2008/12/revers ... sited.html

p90x insanity works, the problem is asking your wife what she thinks about the girlfriend, that is why so many haters, i am in the best shape of my life, and i am 35 using p90x insanity hybrid... oh yes extremely boring after a while, my technique is while is playing i have my laptop with lets say the pua vh1, or one of the seminar videos etc... or i watch judge judy whatever... time goes by fast, or an audio book in my ipod, etc...

Starting my 4th round on P90X today....Sustainable...NO, good for getting cut, YES! I will be doing P90X & Insanity till I get to the body fat percentage I want (six pack), then I will be switching to a less intense Minimum effective dose maint program....

Afc havock try my formula, do not do 4 rounds, instead try insanity, and then a hybrid p90x insanity... give the hybrid about 2 or 3 rounds...i mean the better you follow the nutrition, the less rounds you need... But i do body for life nutrition for me is easier, but without the cheat day..

i've completed 4 rounds of p90x. also 1.5 rounds of insanity. between major p90x program releases tony horton puts out monthly "one on one" dvds that have workouts similar to p90x classic ones, but with different exercises. i put together a couple 3 month rotations where i would do a different set of workouts every week and yet still follow the same MWF: resistance days, TS: cardio, R: yoga, Sun: rest formula.

you have to have a strict diet but it will get you ripped. i was probably 15 pounds overweight of straight nasty food, cheap beer, and soda and after 2 months of insanity to cut a lot of that fat off, p90x helped rebuild the muscle i had in high school.

it is not sustainable and is not designed for getting huge. i play basketball so it basically gets me in the perfect shape for that. low body fat, lean muscle, but not super strong as an ox. also there is not a large focus on the legs. you won't be able to go out and squat 300lb after a cycle.

abourne right on the money, lean look not huge... Girls do not like that anyways, now if you are trying to get big i would not recommend any beach body program...

yea i tried p90x when first starting getting serious in fitness, and i seen good results, even through my diet sucked the first month and a half, but after i corrected my diet i seen better results, i would say p90x is more a program designed for you to lose weight rather then build muscle but i guess its depends on how you go about it
