Ok, so I am an aspiring actor and am shooting an indie film at the end of this month. Unfortunately, I cannot grow facial hair very well(runs in the family) and so in order to properly portray my character, I cannot shave for six weeks. It is currently week 3 as of today and now my oneitis wants to hang out!! She knows about the film and we had class last semester so she knows how I look without the facial hair. Btw, I can only grow a mustache, small soul patch and random chin hairs. Anyways, I took her out two weeks ago(no real noticeable facial hair), then we did some community service for class last week(noticable stache). After last time we hung out, we decided to do yoga tomorrow night. My goal was to keep a sexual frame the entire time and since I can def sense interest on her part, if all goes well I will at least k-close. The problem is, my confidence has been ruined by this nasty facial hair. I have so many random chin hairs and a gross mustache now and everyone has been giving me awkward looks/smiles over the past few days. I guess I am just afraid she wont feel attracted to me anymore after she sees me. I attached a pic so you can see me with the stache as of today. Should I try to avoid her for the next month until I am done filming or just stay confident and see what happens? Sorry for the long post guys, thanks for the help.

How about telling her you're playing a 70's style cop in your play and you did your research on John Holmes films. Explain that John Holmes was a porn actor who played a cop in his films and then cockily ask her if she would help you rehearse. Keeps the frame sexual and explains the mustache.

That mustache is nasty, but it's also a good opportunity to flaunt some crazy coolness.
