Avoid it. If at all possible, avoid it. It's better to do it in person or on the phone. Hell, even text is better.

But, say there's a chick you really want, no way to do it without facebook, I'd say use chat. Don't do the inbox messages if she's on your friends list. It's easiest to get a number close via chat window if you're sarging facebook.

Aside from that, just game like you normally would and your game should be close to what it would be in person, but facebook still sucks for sarging for a couple reasons.

1. Displays lack of confidence. (DLV)
2. Harder to pick up on IOIs, for me at least, because you can't read body language.

Also, only facebook the target until you get her number. And then from there, use text/phone game.

if it doesn't work for you, it doesn't mean everyone should avoid it. i don't use it to hit random chicks (which can be a dlv, i agree), but mine is serving me as one of the biggest social proof tools ever, since there are 3 or 4 chicks that are hitting my wall every single day to invite me to parties and have some small talk, plus some random girl friends that see it and want to come along to the conversation (and to the parties, yay!)

if you have good photos, know how to convey high value through text and don't make yourself look desperate - i.e: use it as a normal social network tool instead of a hitting dozens of chicks per day tool - facebook can be very very useful. it actually can make a new image of you for friends that don't get to see you very often.

True enough. I'm a strong believer in "To each their own." But in my opinion, gaming in person is the best way to go about it. Besides, it's a bit hard to f-close on facebook, isn't it? Only close you can get away with is a number close.

haha, of course. facebook has its uses and the biggest of all is to make connections. but the game itself must be played in person, otherwise it would be just role-playing masturbation.
