Wouldn't think i'd get much help responded to that thread, it looks a wee bit dead considering its date it was created. But according to the thread for those who haven't checked it out. The creator made it very apparent that this online sarging opener worked on many social sites.

"because i barely know her" is totally the wrong mindset. act like she is your bratty little sister even if she's a victoria's secret model who never saw you in her life. if you can't show total confidence to a stranger, your game is lacking in the biggest fundamental, especially when you try a direct opener like this.

the way you opened this girl, look, you asked if you COULD ASK HER something. i don't like it. she being picky is just another reason to challenge her upfront, which "can i ask you a favor" doesn't accomplish.

from where you are, i'd go with the opener, there's nothing to lose and at least she responded. but please, do use HUMOUR and try not to sound like you're afraid of her.
