is there a guide for writing a good profile description....my old one were all basically everything there is to know about me, not leaving any mystery...so i deleted it all and am starting over....


also should i not mention i have kids? im looking to be better at talking to women, but if i hit it off with one i like i would like to keep her around.

1) Your third picture is the best one. Make that the "default" picture.

2) I am not sure what to tell you about the children part. On one hand, you would attract a lot more woman if you just didn't say anything about it. On the other hand, you might be setting yourself up for disappointment if they are suddenly detracted from you once they learn the truth.

3) "Do you want children?" Undecided. "Do you have children?" Yes. Fix that.

As for your profile, be brief and concise. Capitalize and punctuate your sentences properly and make sure everything is spelled correctly. Be funny, but in the process make sure you're actually telling the reader about yourself. Include the basics such as your hobbies and what you're looking for on PoF. Establish value for yourself. No whining, no negativity, etc.

I'd definitely use the OKC pictures on PoF. Those are a lot better.

Your profile is good. Most of that information isn't too revealing and leaves a lot of mystery. I would just try to be a little more sarcastic and funny - add personality to it, if possible. Also, if you have time, try reading the OKC forums. There are a lot of topics on there about building a good profile.

okay so updated the pics, should i take off the one of me and that chick...i don't even really know her, we hung out once with some friends but i was certainly having a good time and i think it shows in the pic, plus Ive read its good to show your self with other women.

Definitely keep that pic up. In fact, if you have any more with you hanging around other women (or even men, just show you have friends etc), add those too.

what about blurring the faces of the friends in the pics? maybe it would be a good thing if they knew someone in one of my pics??

first reply i got was to get rid of the partying pics and the one with the chick in it.....

I like the written part of the okcupid profile, I would recommend setting up a hot or not profile and putting a bunch of pictures on there. then use the highest rated pictures on your dating site pages.
