Hey guys. I would like to ask your opinion on how the books The Game and The Mystery Method being available in the local book stores may affect our game? Cuz recently, I went to my local book store to pick up a copy of The Mystery Method, and when I asked for some assistance from some female workers, they all knew about the books cuz so many people come and buy them.

Do you think this can be a bad news to our game?

So long as your using the methods the books teach to make up your own material there shouldnt be a problem. just dont go around using the lines in the books or shown in the VH1 shows

girls aren't going to take the time to read those books first off b/c they think its bullshit and second of all don't think that will ever work on them... just b/c you ask a girl if thats her natural hair color, say you can only talk for a minute or ignore her and talk to her friends, shes not going to be like hey asshole you're using the MM to pick me up.... people do those things everyday... its not like a straight line from a to b we're following here where everything we say and do is all the same, mystery method teaches us social dynamics which works on the psychology of a women... now you may show too much interest and her realize you're runnin game on her but b/c you come off as an alpha male and ask for an opinion on something she's not going to relate that to MM....

This is a great point. Women will totally pick up on interest, and that is way more exposing then asking her a question she may or may not have heard in a book.

Man has shown (to much) interrest in women since the dawn of days ... i think most women are quite used to it . I dont think women will call ur "game" unless they themselves really studied the art of PU.

In all i think this will be like a evolutionary thing ... just adapt and improve. Use the philosophy behind those books , not the canned lines in it and u will be fine.

I kiss closed a girl who had read the game. It was funny because she kept saying "That would never work on me that would never work on me" LOL. So I USED The Game in the conversation and eventually kiss closed her. I thought it was funny but it required alot of improv. (Definetely helps being an actor)

Both contain invaluable material for any aspiring artist. Read them but don't recite them. Learn the techniques but not the lines. You have to develop your own "game" if you decide to call it that. Yea there's going to be a crash and burn or two before you get it but you can't recite someone else's material forever it will catch up to you.

I just started getting into these stuff and well.. At first I was quite shocked when I went to the bookstore, all the ladies working knew about it. Well.. I am still in the process of developing those skills, but I am now quite convinced that their knowledge about the material shouldnt affect our game that much.
