Hi I have some kind of shyness I guess.. I am wondering what I can do to solve this.. I can talk to women and men fine, except I have a hard time approaching new women to talk to.. I have no idea why. I am pretty good looking.. Usually these girls that I want to approach definitely have interest in me but I think that makes it harder for me, I try to stay cool and they think that I have no interest in them or are shrugging them off. Any tips or ideas? I would like to stop being so damn shy and be able to approach some hot women.

I'm the same. I find it easy to talk in a seminar in front of the class, and also going to a shop and asking anyone for help. Problem is for me going up to random people with nothing in common from the approach. I just think it's a big case of not wanting rejection or getting a bad reply which is harder to overcome then it sounds. Even being drunk i find it just as hard to approach really in the same scenario of not knowing that person. I have been telling myself for ages to change myself, but it's so much harder than it sounds. As i just started working retail as shop assistant hopefully this will only help me but then again this scenario is still the same of being approached by people who expect it or something!!

I think for me the problem is not approaching them but it's the fear of not knowing what to talk about.. when I have a topic or something to talk about, such as a question, or a comment, it's easier but then without it, I am lost..

Just need more practice. Talk to girls in whatever capacity you can. Even if it's just for one line.

This isn't a lack of courage, it's a skill problem. You know your skills aren't enough to charm a stranger the way you want to, so you don't want to try. However, like with weight-lifting, you have to start small and work your way up.
