One of the biggest frustrations of being a shorty (5'3") is that many apparel just don't fit you correctly, or the appropriate size are rarely in stock, even online. :?

I love the clean-cut & slimmer appearance of Express, but they just run too large and long on me. Do you guys have any suggestions of similar styles that run smaller?

Please don't tell me to wear children's apparel. We all know the styles are vastly different and a bit degrading may I add.

Keep in mind I'm Korean-American so certain styles may or may not work for me. :P

You can buy designer clothes you like and generally fit you and then have them refitted for you. That's the best way to have really fitting clothes, if you can afford it.

"And yes, I'm a chick" lol

Being a poor college student I'm wondering how much we're talking. Maybe I should just learn to refit my own clothes to save money in the long run.

Do you know any designers that usually run more small or slim?

If you could learn using a sewing machine, that would be awesome and the cheapest option. I don't know any specific brands, unfortunately :( But if you can refit your own clothes, that will suit you the best and the options for peacocking are endless. You can also recycle your old clothes this way and make some cool new items. Maybe it's worth the effort if you keep running into this problem :)

"It is a famous belief that if you are not fashion then you are nobody. Independent fashion is the new trend this year, create your own fashion and be a trend setter".
