VII.) Weight Loss Goals
  • A.) May 28th – July 11th- 12 LBS (215 LBS  203 LBS)
    B.) July 12th- August 8th- 10 LBS (203 LBS  193 LBS)
    C.) August 9th- September 5th- 8 LBS (193 LBS  185 LBS)
    D.) September 6th- October 10th- 5 LBS (185 LBS  180 LBS)
Goal: Lose 25 LBS by October 10th.

Purpose for date: It is the day of my grandfather’s birthday. He died from excessive eating and diabetes back when I was 9.

Goal II: Begin Body Building October 17th

Well gents this is the culmination of months of research, weeks of writing out several draft plans, days of finalizing the plan, hours of frustration and typing on the forums. But the end result is this well thought out fitness plan. Now I realize it may need some tweaks and adjustments; however, what I found in my opinion was gold. I created something simple and easily fixable that I could stick to. After months of receiving ridicule and flack for not taking action, I can finally say I am being proactive about my health. May this colossal plan symbolize my will, determination, and resolve. I know the upcoming months will be harsh, but I accept this blatant reality. Without pain there can be no growth. I thank you all for reading this I’m not done, many posts will come up shortly.

-A video for the hell of it.

By the way guys, tried this and it doesn't work. If it were this easy I wouldn't be on this forum now would I?

Sincerely,

Gaius

Update:

Let me know if there is anything I can fix with my diet or work out. I may take your words into consideration.
              • The End of Part 2 in my plan.

Plan to Break the Habits

(The Background)

Plan-

I plan to handle one problem at a time. These 5 habits are ranked in what is most to least important to me. I plan to conquer just one of these habits at a time. Warning some of these habits are quite strange are a bit different from the norm.

Background-

I think what really inspired me to fix up this plan was the fact I had a severe relapse in bad eating and masturbation. About a night or two ago I destroyed a whole thing of barbeque my dad made earlier in the day. I felt like shit, I was just eating just to eat. The same happened with masturbation, I allowed my self to look at porn without trying to hold my self back. I often tell my self I won’t masturbate, but often fall into this trap of, “Oh one can’t hurt…” It gets me every single time with the food and with the masturbation. I don’t know how to just do it once then quit, which is why I knew NEVER to get on drugs. I know I’d be an addict if I ever did. I am not afraid to admit that I have almost little or no self-control, will power, or self-discipline.

I don’t exactly understand what has caused this but now more than ever I am determined to fix these draw backs in my life. I have for a long time associated with holding and not having what you want when you want a draw back. In my head a person should have what they want when they want how they want it. But this isn’t exactly how reality works. Reality works in a set of ways that helps you to get what you want through hard work. It took me really up until 6 or 7 months ago to learn this, which is why my world collapsed on itself.

Sometimes I can manage well and other times I just let go and allow the habit to happen once more. I have a put it off until the future mindset, which is terrible. So in this I’ve listed some triggers I’ve personally noticed and something I believe to help me stop them from occurring again. I will seek professional help with these problems and get an in depth analysis of the problems and ways to avoid them. I do believe most of these problems to be nervous habits and coping mechanisms. Thanks for reading.

Sincerely,

Gaius

Break the Habits

Plan-

I plan to handle one problem at a time. These 5 habits are ranked in what is most to least important to me. I plan to conquer just one of these habits at a time.

Warning: Some of these habits are quite strange are a bit different from the norm. You have been warned. Continue at your own risk. This is also an extremely long post, longer than the last. I am sorry for this but lots of observations and solutions.

I.) Monster # 1 Masturbation
  • A.) Observations and Triggers (Sexuality for me is a symbol of power, revenge, or curiosity for the bizarre and strange.)
    • 1.) Often when I masturbate I don’t have on shorts or I’ll take them off.
    • 2.) I look at porn and allow these images to fester in my mind. I’ll allow my self to get curious about a subject, research it and as I research I’ll get my self more and more horny. Like when I saw Hillary Clinton’s boobs on that bazaar magazine, I did not know she was packing such a pair…. Forgive me gents I am sexually attracted to the bizarre. I doubt this part of me will ever change, fixed or not. I doubt if I ever want to be attracted to normal things either.
    • 3.) When I allow my self to create opulent and well wishing sexual fantasies. Limitless sex with limitless amounts of women is often associated with wealth and power in my mind. It is often accompanied by a sense of conquest or revenge against those who doubted me. Often times I will live in magnificent palaces with an infinite number or personally symbolic number of wives while lesser men tend to my lease favorable of wives.
    • 4.) When I’m not busy or have too much “perceived” free time I’ll masturbate. For example when I’m just surfing on the computer, even though I should be cutting the law, or cleaning my room.
    • 5.) Often times # 4 is accompanied by me being bored and curious, so I’ll think up thoughts and just start playing with my self to imagine and explore these thoughts.
    • 6.) My sexuality can often be subconsciously triggered by something on television, or something I see. Like an older woman who is aggressive and in charge. I’m into the whole M.I.L.F. Dominatrix thing . And other things like seeing a woman mistreat her mate or spouse. I love cuckold husbands and wives; it makes my heart race. Group sex is often associated with safety and the consolidation of power in my mind. And in terms of multiple men with one woman I often associate this with pleasure of the woman. However, most of these sexual fetishes are based around older women or couples. As of now I have no clue as to the symbolic importance of older women in my mind. There are several things that trigger my on and off switches.
            • ImageImage
              • mmmmmm….. such symbols of power and SEXINESS....
    • 7.) I often fall into a trap telling my self, “well I guess once couldn’t hurt.” This often gives me an excuse to break my own rules habitually several times over and over again.
    • 8.) When I see a pretty girl and didn’t have the gull to approach her and try. It’s a coping mechanism for not trying and failure.
    • 9.) Anger and frustration often makes me want to masturbate in order to dream up these fantasies, feel in control and have power, and let go of the pain.
    • 10.) This is the last time I’ll get to do this in a while since I’m fixing it. I might as well just repeatedly do this, abuse it, and not control my self since it’s the last time. Yeah I know dumb, but frequently done. (This behavior occurs frequently with eating as well).
    • Just another quick observation, I tend to have a lot of the same behaviors I have with masturbation with food. I don’t quite understand the correlation yet, but a lot of times I will not regulate my food intake because of “this being the last time,” etc. I just wanted to make that note in this post because I think eventually I’ll be able to draw the link.

As you can see masturbation is an easy trip wire for me. It is extremely easy for me to fuck up and masturbate based on any given circumstance. Masturbation is my drug because it serves as my ultimate coping mechanism and form of relaxation. It is often accompanied with day dreams. These day dreams are often associated with feelings of power, love, submitting (to older women), revenge, coping from pain and hurt, etc. It’s my everything to everything, and my end all to end all.
    B.) Solutions
    • 1.) Keep on some shorts and pants at all times or as much as possible.

2.) Don’t look at porn outside of specified times NO MATTER WHAT.

3.) When I feel really horny or dream up a sexual fantasy I consider worth explore I will do deep breath exercises followed by a small exercise routine of (10 push ups, 10 sit ups, and running for 30 seconds). Take really deep breaths the hornier I get.

4.) Stay busy doing an activity or stay in public or out in the open where everyone can see me. Avoid having too much “free time” and “alone time” on my hands to avoid this habit. I will try being down stairs as much as possible with my family.

5.) I will not put my hands down my boxers or shorts and play with my self AT ALL. I also will not allow my self to subconsciously take off my shorts to make it easier to play with my self.

6.) Don’t bookmark or save porn, EVER.

7.) Get a job and decrease my amount of free time.

8.) Rechannel my sexual thoughts into visions of a positive healthy self, or find some work to do in order to get my mind off of it.

9.) I will not give my self an out to the rules. I will stay steady on my path and follow through. I will conquer my impulse and will not listen to it or rechannel its energy.

10.) I will approach women using the 3 second rule, so I don’t regret not having the courage to approach the woman. Unless of course she is with someone.

11.) Simply have the WILL POWER and DISCIPLINE to say not, drop my penis, get out of my bed and not do it. Simply force my self to find something else to do.
    C.) Goals/ Purpose:
    • 1.) Not to masturbate in increments of expanded times and eventually reach the benchmark of not masturbating, or masturbating little in a span of two months. It was the recommended time to help fix my erectile dysfunction.

2.) Return to hard and long lasting erections that can yield good results sexually.
Oh yeah, for all those amazed and spooked out I did warn you that this was going to be kinky and that I was kinky. I hoped you all enjoyed.

Sincerely,

Gaius

II.) Monster # 2: Digging and Putting Foreign Objects into My Ear-
(I’ve been doing this since I was a boy; I just never really kicked the habit. I know a lot of people who does this habit as well).

http://jscms.jrn.columbia.edu/cns/2007- ... qtips.html
  • A.) Reason/Purpose:
    • 1.) I suspect that this bad and unsanitary habit could be the cause of lots of my allergens and could cause ear infections. I often stick damaging and or dirty objects into my ear.

2.) It could be causing LOTS of damage to my ear drums, ear canal, and hearing.

3.) Stop the destructive process of damaging my ear drums and hearing. I want at least 40 more years of good hearing in order to easily navigate through life and do my plans. Once I get old enough and have done enough of my plans, I can honestly give a fuck if I go deaf, and wouldn’t mind it in the slightest.
    B.) Triggers
    • 1.) I often stick objects into my ear when it feels stuffy and or full.

2.) When it feels really irritated or itchy.

3.) When I feel like getting a nice chill up my spine (the releasing of dopamine from the brain) from sticking objects in my ear.

4.) When it feels like something crawled into my ear, or something is down there.

5.) When my ear feels dry or liquid is coming out (less often).
    C.) Plans/ Solutions:
    • 1.) If my ear feels stuffy or full, I will put small amounts of peroxide down my ear to clean out the ear from a suspected infection (from viruses, infections, or acne forming in the middle of the ear canal (this can be dangerous just to let you all know, if you suspect a bump in the middle of your ear go to your doctor immediately))

2.) I won’t leave objects in my room or around me which I can stick in my ear.

3.) I will not allow my self to leave objects around my self which I can use to create objects to stick down my ear. This includes but is not limited to: (Paper or related objects that I can tear and roll up to put into my ear, rubber bands I can break and force into my ears). If at any time I get one or more of these types of objects I will immediately throw them away without hesitation or second thought.

4.) I am forbidden from wetting cotton-tip q-tips and biting their tips to narrow them and put them in my ear. Forms of wetting the q-tip include but not limited to: (water and saliva (most commonly used methods)).

5.) If I feel like putting something into my ear because of: irritation fullness, or feeling like something crawled in my ear; I will clean my hands, dry them, and then wiggle a finger around in my ear. Can’t be as damaging.

6.) If I feel like still feel like sticking something in my ear, I will do deep breathing exercise and then go get my MP3 player and listen to some low volume music to get my mind off the ear digging.

7.) I will not clean my ears more than once or twice a month. I will allow my self to develop some ear wax in order to prevent objects from crawling or getting in my ears.

8.) If ear feels clogged I will blow my nose and try to equalize the pressure by doing lots of Valsalva Maneuvers. This will be in conjunction with the step above of putting (EXTREMELY) small amounts of peroxide in the ear to clean it out.

9.) Ignore the dryness or give my self a wet willy if I need to.
              • Image
    D.) Goals:
    • 1.) To reduce the amount of times I clean my ears to about once or twice per month in order to prevent this destructive and habitual process from occurring.

2.) I wish to develop just enough ear wax to protect my ears from small invading objects, and prevent bacterial infections.

3.) Not wasting over tons of paper or q-tips.

III.) Monster # 3: Clipping My Nails Extremely Short and Peeling My Skin
                  • Image
                    • Warning
    • This can potentially gross some people out. So continue with this topic at your own risk. This topic isn’t for the faint of heart. You've been warned.
  • A.) Reason/ Purpose:
    • 1.) It makes my nails and fingers look hideous and unattractive. I am a pretty well groomed guy excluded this among a few other habits. Therefore, this habit makes me look uncleanly and not well groomed.

2.) Peeling and ripping skin can leave the skin open to dangerous viruses and sicknesses. It makes the transmission of viruses easier.

3.) Scary shit like mercer (staph) infections can happen fairly easy.

    B.) Triggers:
    • 1.) When my finger nails grow too long I often clip my nails and my skin just to clip it.

2.) I formed the habit shortly after I stop biting my nails. So in reference to this situation I believe it’s a nervous habit formed out of fear and nervousness.

3.) Sometimes I’ll get bored and just clip away.

4.) Other times I’ll notice unevenness from previous times I ripped skin or clip my nails/skin. So basically when I try to even my skin back out from the fucked up practice of pealing it.
    C.) Plan/Solutions:
    • 1.) I will not leave nail clippers in my room and will leave them alone when they are not needed to be used.

2.) If there is a small piece of skin sticking up I won’t peal it, I’ll just leave it.

3.) If I do peal my skin to the point of almost tearing it, I will leave it and won’t clip in order to allow the skin to heal and go back to its natural state.

4.) If I still peal my skin, sanitize the area, allow blood to flow and dry to form a new barrier, and then find a bandage to put around the affected area.

5.) Never clip just to clip my nails. SKIN IS OFF LIMITS.

6.) Never clip the skin, use nail clipper for intended purpose and clip the nails only. Avoid using toe nail clippers to clip finger nails, which I often use to easily clip my skin off. Finger nail clippers for fingers and toe nail clippers for toes, no mixing of the two.

7.) Reduce the amount of times I clip my nails to once or twice a month.

8.) Use wrist squeezers if I feel like clipping or peeling my skill. Or I can substitute the wrist squeezer with stress balls. Either is fine in this situation.
    D.) Goals:
    • 1.) Reduce the amount of times I clip my nails to once or twice a month.

2.) Stop clipping or pealing my skin EVER, EVER, AGAIN!!

3.) Stop damaging my skin and prevent my self from getting potential infections.

IV.) Monster # 4: Weak Discipline (Being Lazy)
              • Image
  • A.) Reason/Purpose:
    • 1.) I want to achieve much in my life. Many great feats that will require hard work.

2.) I need a job and finish school at the same time, which will require a lot of work.

3.) I need to retake ACT/SAT and take computer certification exams which will require lots of focus and dedication.

4.) I want a healthy life, which requires discipline and dedication.

5.) Most importantly I want to avoid being in the same financial situation my parents are in when I hit my late 40s and early 50s. In fact I want to be financially large and in charge when I get their ages.

6.) Being lazy gets in the way of me accomplishing all of these things.
    B.) Triggers:
    • 1.) I often associate task with difficulty or they will take a long time. I see the pain of going through the process instead of the reward I will receive in the end.

2.) If a task takes a long time I often associate the task with its strenuous length instead of the character it builds in me to stay dedicated to a task for so long.

3.) I make excuses as to why I can delay the task for a bit longer, or develop reasons why I don’t need to actually execute the task.

4.) I associate going without instant gratification as going through pain and being deprived.

5.) It is hard for me to stay focused and dedicated to a task. Easily distracted and amused by things.

6.) I often get distracted day dreaming and thinking of my cool self in the future instead getting down and dirty and fixing my self now.

7.) Working hard without little or no regularly scheduled breaks. Could serve as a deterrent towards working hard. (Inspired by hobbit's suggestion)
    C.) Plan/Solutions:
    • 1.) Remind my self of the positive things that will occur as a result of taking these actions. Also remind my self of the benefits of the result.

2.) Remind my self of the benefits of being strong and working hard to get what you want. It implies the ability to work harder and achieve greater goals that are even more difficult, yet even more rewarding. In other words, see the process of going through pain and struggle as a test and reward, rather than pain and disadvantage. This reframing of thought patterns is highlighted well in Hobbit’s post on the practical attainment of inner game topic.

      1-vt67840.html?start=0

3.) Associate strenuous and long term task with character building exercises in conjunction with the rewards that will be associated with the given task. In other words reframe pain as pleasure, and enjoy the journey of arriving at the task instead quickly wanting the task.

4.) When I know something has to be done, do it.

5.) Avoid making excuses and immediately do what I can do in the short term and plan for the long term. Don’t waste time complaining about what can’t be done and focus on the things that can be done and changed in the present. In other words do what I need to do immediately without second thought and without allowing negative lazy thoughts of getting into my head (do it then and there).

6.) Do not allow negative lazy thoughts to get into my head. Force them out of my head and stay focused on the task at hand.

7.) Make short term goals that lead into long term goals. Make a reasonable plan that is easy to get into and humble, without the bias of personal ambition and over expecting of my self. Furthermore, when I make plans I must stick to them, and only change as needed based on sound judgment and reason. Be open to changing plans to the reality of a flowing and changing world.

8.) Follow a personal ritual daily and nightly that instills patience and discipline with in my inner person.

9.) Avoid becoming distracted by outside distractions. If there is a distraction turn it off or get away from it and stay focused on the task at hand.

10.) Avoid day dreaming while working; force your attention back on the task at hand.

11.) Take regular breaks in all your activities in order not to become too overwhelmed about doing the task. However, avoid abusing these breaks and using it as an excuse to idly walk around and day dream.

12.) Write down what I wish to accomplish in the day during the morning in order to have a clear picture of what I’m doing during the day. Or have it previously written down earlier.

13.) Have a schedule and a weekly plan that I follow rigorously. Mark down all important dates, including due dates, family birthdays, and pre-scheduled down time. Always include regular leisure time in all plans and schedules.

14.) Limit the amount of time towards entertainment such as computer games, random internet surfing, and TV. Have specific leisure ideas in mind, life specific TV shows, computer games and their various scenarios, and what I want to look up on the internet. Have a limited time planned before the event in order to prevent abuse, over use, and wasting of time. At the pre-scheduled time get off the entertainment device and complete the next objective.

15.) Never make exceptions to preset rules and break them. The rules are what they are and they must be followed. This is why planning leisure or breaking of the rules such as (eating cake every 3 weeks) is important to keep you motivated to keep going.

16.) As a part of the daily ritual I will imagine my self as the man I want to be, strong and full of self-discipline.

17.) Don't work so hard that I become discouraged from achieving my goals. (Inspired by hobbit's suggestion)

    D.) Goals:
    • 1.) Finish all Computer Certifications By December 31st of 2011 (If retakes are required):
      • a.) Finish all of my Microsoft series certifications. This includes:
        • i.) SQL (Business Intelligence): Have MCTS by the end of June(20th-27th if there arises the need to retake), and MCITP by late July/(early August)

ii.) SharePoint (Configuration and Administration): Finish MCTS in configuration by September and MCITP in configuration by October 15th.
b.) Finish all of my Oracle based certifications (December 15th)
        • i.) Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL 5 Developer
2.) Retake ACTs and take SATs by May 31st of 2012. I will take the test twice, once to improve my low scores which I didn’t try on at all, and the other to boost my scores to the point where I can enter the college of my choice.
      • a.) I will take the tests twice, once to get into my intermediary school for my bachelors and another time to transition to my masters school. However, I will retake the test shortly after taking it the first time. Goal scores will be as follows:
        • i.) First time- ACT- 24, SAT- 1700
ii.) Second time- ACT- 31, SAT- 2200 (Take this by December 31st of 2012)
          • - To keep in mind, I will be taking the test a few times in between these in over to improve my score and get a better idea of what I should do.
3.) Clean my room, cut my hair, and cut my yard every week in order to start small and build up my discipline. Small exercises such as these will help me to build my discipline up to higher levels and accomplish greater task. So I’ve put these 3 humble tasks in my goals list in order to start small and build up. These are things I can be doing now.

4.) Handle daily hygiene without thought. Now lets be honest guys, we don’t always do what we have too. I’ll admit skipping a few showers and sleeping after a meal or two. But even this little step will help me garner some discipline.

5.) Create a followable plan that can be easily executed. (DONE!!!) :)

6.) Obtain a weight loss goal of 30 lbs by October 10th. (Already lost 5 lbs from when I wrote this :)).

7.) Get a job to help decrease free time. (Already got a few interviews guys :D !)

8.) Slow progression towards goals by slowly building them up and working towards them. (Per suggestion of hobbit)
As you can see, many of my goals are things that already coincide with lots of my plan. So gaining discipline is already a prescript in my plan. Meaning I didn't add much more then was already in my plan. I love it when good planning comes to fruition.

V.) Monster # 5: Weak Will Power (Lack of Motivation and Reserve)
  • A.) Reasons/Purpose:
    • 1.) It stops me from progressing and moving forward with my life.

2.) It is the part of me that often blinds me, holds me back, and fills me with animosity and hatred.

3.) I am tired of victimizing my self in my not so bad life. Sure there are of tough things like bills or an extremely divided house, but all can be overcome.

4.) It stops me from continuing things and causes me to give in quickly.

5.) I want to become an aggressive self-starter.
    B.) Triggers:
    • 1.) I have thoughts of inadequacy or inability running through my head before nearing a task.

2.) I fear and second guess my self and my judgment frequently.

3.) I think of all the reasons why not to start something, frequently listing my inadequacies and inabilities as the cause.

4.) Lots of sloth and not wanting to do what I have to.

5.) Not having a clear idea of what I wish to do.

6.) Easily discouraged from doing something when I’m unmotivated.
    C.) Plans/Solutions:
    • 1.) Move forward despite failure, fear, or doubt.

2.) Do not allow doubt and fear to conquer my mind.

3.) Stop listing excuses and analyze what I do have and what I can do with what I have already. I will be efficient with my resources, and be able to assess a positive outcome in a situation despite the negative circumstances. This means just do things and stick with it.

4.) Stay motivated and have reasons behind what I do. (Morning Ritual and constantly reminding my self of the purpose of what I'm doing this for)

5.) Speak positively before doing an activity or doing times of doubt or fear and constantly repeat “I can do it, I know I can.” Move forward with this since of pride and self-reassurance and cast all doubt aside.

6.) Have a clear motivation based plan that I can follow and execute.

7.) I will accept reality for what it truly is and will not allow the negativity of the situation to shape me. I will always move forward to a positive outcome despite any setbacks, tragedies, or disasters. Furthermore, expect resistance and challenge from both external and internal forces and stay motivated in despite of it.

8.) Avoid dramaticizing a trivial or small event and focusing on its negativity.

9.) Lose the fear of failure and try despite what you think the outcome will be. I will never know until I try. I will allow failure to make me stronger and fueled by it from the anger raging with in. In other words, conquer fear.

10.) When things get hard (for example: tough, boring, tiresome, or frustrating) continue to have the desire and motivation to work on that task.

11.) Hold back the urge to give up or give in easily. Also, do not allow opinions to be easily changed from external or internal resistance.

12.) Restructure negative thoughts to positive ones that find motivation in challenge and adversity rather than comfort in easiness and lack of resistance.
D.) Goals: (Many of them are in accordance with self discipline):
    • 1.) Approaching women using the three second rule. I plan to re-do the newbie challenge and approach at least 100 sets over the span of 4 weeks the right way this time.

2.) To be a more self-controlled person with strong resolve and the ability to get beyond even my greatest draw backs. This includes staying calm in most or even all situations including tragedies.

3.) Stick with this plan and see it through to the end and don’t doubt my self during its process.

4.) Conduct the ritual every morning and night from now on. This includes positive self talk to help me reaffirm the image I am trying to create.

5.) To take care of and love my self genuinely.
Some of these goals do not have visual benchmarks or measurable markers of success. However, I am sure that I will be able to measure them in happiness when that moment occurs.

Thanks for reading this long series of posts.

Sincerely,

Gaius
              • The End of Part 3 in my plan.

My Daily Schedule- The Short Term Plan:

Background and Explanation:

Many of you maybe asking why I'm putting up my short-term plan? It's mostly for shits, and also to inspire some guys to actually create a schedule of their own. This schedule follows a weekly regiment.

This schedule is only temporary and is subjective to changes as needed due to real life and other situations in the real world. It will be officially commissioned into use on June 1st, 2011 and will be subject to decommissioning on August 3rd, 2011. It will be used for nearly 3 months and will subsequently be dismantled and rebuilt for a schedule that incorporates my school time schedule.

All daily plans will be subject to quarterly review. If it is determined with in a 3 to 4 month span that my schedule is no longer relevant or useful, it will be subject to decommissioning and re-write in favor of a new daily schedule.

Per annum there will be 4 schedules for each season of the year. There will be 3 primary schedules and one sub-schedule I will follow. The 3 primary plans will coincide with my local school calendar: (Fall (Aug.-Dec.), Spring (Jan.-May (early-mid may)), and Summer (The Fourth Week of May – The 1st Week of Aug.). The fourth schedule will always be created do to changing weather and circumstances. It will therefore be subordinate to any other plans previously made on of the other 3 schedules. This fourth schedule will simply be labeled, The Winter Sub-Schedule. The Winter Sub-Schedule will cover the (1st week of Nov.-1st week of Mar.).

Schedules will be named based on their seasons, and the current year. It will also coincide with an edition number which symbolizes how many years the plan has been in use. Furthermore, the number of times the schedule has been edited will precede the title. For example: The 1st Winter Sub-Schedule of 2009, 4th Edition. 1st implies the number of recent edits, Winter Sub-Schedule implies the season, and 4th implies the number of years this plan has reconstructed and reinstatement. 4th also implies that this plan has been in use since the winter of 2005. Now I have never made schedules like this before, so this is purely and example of nomenclature I plan to use.

This current schedule reflects: The 1st Summer Schedule of 2011, 1st Edition. Date of Commissioned use: June 1st, 2011. Date of Decommissioned Retirement: August 3rd, 2011. Date of Reinstatement: May 21st, 2012. This plan is effective through June 1st-August 3rd, 2011.

The 1st Summer Schedule of 2011, 1st Edition:

*** (Rest and Relaxation Time) - (R&R) time constitutes time slots of 60 minutes or more. These are given near the end of the day in order to unwind and relax from a hard days work. In reality (R&R) time before dinner and during is all one (R&R) time period. However, dinner is allocated a special slot in remembrance to my dietary plans and their importance.

Career and Life Goals: My Long-term Plan
              • Image
Outline of the Next 10 years:

I.) Finish Up Certifications by December of 2011.

II.) Study ACT and SAT, beginning the early spring of 2012 in order to boost test scores.
  • A.) Initial test score goals (Done to get into my initial four year)-
    • 1.) ACT- 24

      2.) SAT- 1700
B.) Final test score goals (Done the first year after transfer)-
    • 1.) ACT- 31

      2.) SAT- 2200
III.) Finish up with my local community college by fall of 2012.

IV.) Spring of 2013 Transfer to a reputable 4 year.

V.) Use previously gained Microsoft and Oracle certifications for college credit in order to later finish an AAS degree in Microcomputers for Business (or the local equivalent of this degree). Each certification constitutes roughly (4-6 credit hours- from my understanding). I plan to have 4 so that should be at minimum 20 credit hours towards an associate’s degree.
  • A.) Dedicate the mass majority of electives gained during bachelors to the following:
    • 1.) Computers Science (Until AAS is finished).

      2.) Begin studies in finance.
VI.) In the spring of 2014 begin studying for GMAT’s in order to get into a good masters college for business. Shit forgot my GRE’s :(, too much goddamn testing in America, seriously.

VII.) Begin testing for GMAT’s/GRE’s (Fall 2014 (Decemberish)- Spring 2015)
  • A.) Target Scores
    • 1.) GRE- (700 on the general exam, and 5 on the analytical writing exam)

      2.) GMAT- 700
VIII.) By late December 2014 have a job paying 6 figures.

IX.) Finish Bachelors in Business Administration by spring 2015, and an AAS in Microcomputers for Business.

X.) Once I enter my business graduate school of choice (fall of 2015 or spring of 2016), I’ll begin studying for my LSAT’s to prepare for law school. (Fall of 2015) for LSAT studies) (Score goal is 165.0) (The LSAT’s have a weird scoring system).

XI.) Finish my M.B.A and Bachelor in financing or the science of finance by spring 2017.

XII.) Enter in to my law school of choice fall 2017.

XIII.) Finish law degree by fall of 2020.

--End of Preview--

Update:

Education Goals Revisited:

1.) Law degree
2.) M.B.A.
3.) Bachelor in Finance
4.) A.A. in Microcomputing Systems for Business

The plan above briefly outlined the chronology I was planning to use to get these degrees. This has been carefully planned and thought out. And remember this is with in the next 10 years. I can make this happen. One of these can be tossed at any moment due to need or change in opinions.
              • The End of Part 5 in my plan.

B.) 3 second rule- Will be followed on every approach

C.) 1 sight, 1 approach Exercise- Means if I see a girl that looks nice I’ll stroll on ovah and open up my N’Orleans accent and say hello with out giving it a second thought. As soon as she catches my eye, I’m puttin’ the Louis Fat Cat mack down on her.

D.) Opening Statement Exercise- I will prescript material to help me open up people a bit easier. (Statement of interest and notice --> introducing my self, --> asking for her name in return--> using an opening niche from the environment or one that is relevant to continuing the conversation).
    • 1.) Example:
                  • Image

4.) Set strong boundaries and don’t allow people any more respect than they have earned. Learn to say no and be ok hearing no. No means no, and don’t expect everyone to always agree with you. VII.) Relationships- To be really honest, at this point in my life I don’t care for relationships and don’t need the distraction. But I suspect that maybe 2 or 3 years after this phase in my life there will be a sudden urge to get into a stable and meaningful relationship with stable and meaningful people. This does not just include a relationship with a woman, but close and life long relationships formed after college through the work place and social causes.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Expect areas of practice due to physical independence constraints.

1.) Grocery Store

2.) The Local Coffee Shop

3.) Book Stores

              • The End of Part 6 in my plan.

The Cat in the Hat- Plan to Obtain New Viable Skills for Work Place Improvement and Personal Agendas (Long-term Objective):
                  • Image
This plan is under temporary suspension and will not be relieved on suspension until December 31st, 2012 (date will be subject to change as needed), at which time I will have complete much of this plan and could explore these viable alternatives to gaining skills.

I'm trying not to get distracted and bite more than I can chew. The plan for independence and weight loss will be the only plans pursue as of now, and of course me trying to defeat my long-lasting addiction to masturbation. These are the only things of concern to me as of now (getting a job, working out/dieting, and stopping masturbation). Very plain, very simple… I will slowly branch to these other objectives in the long run, once most of the three goals stated above are finished.

This post will mostly consist of me listing things I want to become good at and an extremely generic idea of how I plan to get there. This plan may even be a completely worthless spectacle, but it’s worth examination to eliminate future potential time wasters.

I.) Desired skills to acquire:
  • A.) Creative and Critical Thinking Skills- Desired sub-skills include:
    • 1.) How to gain a new perspective on a problem and or being open to viewing the world differently during the process of problem solving.

2.) How to be a fast thinker

3.) How to have deep critical thinking skills.
  • B.) The skill to build effective relationships and organizations that help me further my personal goals, desired sub-skills from this skill include:
    • 1.) Savvy organizations that enhance my financial portfolio

2.) Dynamic organizations that implement innovative solutions

3.) Creating organizations that inspire social change

4.) Fluid organizations that promote and further my political agendas
  • C.) The ability to have strategic intuition to:
    • 1.) Effectively use my natural analytical and intuitive skills for strategic foresight. Being able to see ahead.

2.) This includes the ability to recognize exploitable and strategic opportunities contemplated in the future or recognized during the present. Accidental opportunities that open the door to a major break through.

3.) This also includes the ability to be well prepared ahead of time due to strategic understanding and disaster readiness, and despite all foreseeable setbacks, seeing ways to still complete the main objective done.

  • D.) The art of sales, debating, and swaying opinions. Viable skills in the entrepreneurial workforce, (not PUA-related).
    • 1.) Sales

      2.) Debating Skills

      3.) Swaying opinions
      • a- Deductive techniques and flawed devices (like the Straw man technique and or a red herring/ devices commonly used in PUA)

b- Inductive techniques that used logical arguments and reasoning
            • Image
II.) Method of Implementation (Scientific Journaling)- Warning, this type of methodology isn’t for everyone, I simply use this process in order to help me journal and get help. If there is not a clear or concise understanding of this method, then it will only confuse the individual. Use simpler methods of journaling if this becomes a problem.
  • A.) Simplified Form (for early starts, or those who don’t like much paper work):
    • 1.) Ask a question

      2.) Conduct background research

      3.) Construct a hypothesis

      4.) Test the Experiment

      5.) Test the hypothesis

6.) Record all procedures used during the experiment. (Compile journal data)

7.) Analyze results and draw conclusions

8.) Suspend judgment and review/retest results. If hypothesis and predictions failed, revisit step 3 and form a new hypothesis. If the hypothesis is successful then proceed to the next steps.

      9.) Publish results (on forum)

10.) Application and implications to the real world.

  • B.) Complex Form (very descriptive):
    • 1.) Ask a question based on curiosity.

2.) The purpose of the question, is this question worth exploring? (Only the individual can determine this. If yes then continue with this process, if not then restart and construct a new question that is relevant to your mission). Always revisit questions if they ever become relevant in the future.

3.) Establish the goals you hope to accomplish from this or any given experiment. Furthermore, establish the criteria you desire to follow.

4.) Begin conducting background research and observations of similar phenomenon (others who have achieved or are achieving your desired goals and or plans).

5.) Brainstorm a list of valid solutions and or conclusions based on creative and intuitive ideas.

6.) Construct a clear hypothesis from the selection of ideas created through the brainstorm list. Use the process of elimination by inductive reasoning in the selection process.

7.) Make an unbiased prediction based on previous and similar situations related to the topic at hand.
      • - (My primary concern is that personal bias could affect the neutrality of experiments. Beware of putting personal bias into predictions. It will inevitably cause experiments to become misdirected and invalid).
8.) Challenge the hypothesis and predictions with a series of test. These tests can consist of structured experiments, or raw but well observed trial and error. Use and exhaust all options, resources, and opportunities in order to have a thorough understanding of the situation before analyzing compiled data.

9.) Meticulously write down procedures from the experiment as the process is in motion. This is so that the data can be later collected and turned into viable organized data. (Basically chicken scratch down things that happen so you can connect the dots later.)

10.) Analyze the results and draw conclusions from the organized data.

11.) If the hypothesis is true, suspend judgment and retest a few more times. If hypothesis is invalid, examine why and go back to step 6 to in order to come up with a new hypothesis. Don’t be afraid to go back and review the validity of results any timer during the scientific process. Use the (Iterative Process (back tracking to double-check results)).

12.) Publish results to make them known and public, despite success or failure. This so others can attempt to duplicate the results during the inquisitive process (someone checking to see if your claims are true or can fit their personal style).

13.) Application to the real world and predicted consequences (remain neutral and unbiased). List your concerns, fears, distinct possibilities you believe you have a distinct insight into in which others do not, and the implication of those possibilities. These statements must be rational and down to Earth. Avoid extremism, and rash ideals. Conclusive thoughts must be rational and supported by rigorously tested fact.
      • - For example avoid saying statements like: I have never gotten a girl in front of her mother, therefore it can not be done.

        - Do use statements like: I noticed that if I paid little attention towards the mother during opening, the girl was less likely to leave on an insta-date with me. Notice the neutrality of this statement, and the distinct possibility for solutions to it.

        - Avoid making statements like never, impossible, or can’t be done. They are full of bias and limit your options permanently. Any language that is too personally biased is not good language to use.

        - Even if the statement were: I noticed that I can get all the girls and their mothers, therefore I can have any woman in the world. This opposite end extreme is full of bias that may eliminate the potential to actually fix problems. Therefore, it is reasonable to say, that you must remain objective and open to both criticisms and solutions. It is the only way to concisely see the situation.
14.) Form new ideas and questions from the published results and repeat this process until the given phenomenon is well understood.
  • C.) Supportive Mindset:
    • 1.) Open Mindedness

2.) Being unbiased and having the ability to challenge old ideas that may not be true

3.) Prepared for the unexpected in results, (being flexible to new interpretations)

III.) Simple Immediate Solutions and Proposals: (Let me know if you all have any solutions for me)
  • A.) Get a side commissioned sales job that helps to nurture desired skills to learn and build effective business relationships.

B.) Create or become apart of a local social group that inspires local social change.

C.) Begin reading, doing cross word puzzles, riddles, and doing challenging problem solving to improve creative thinking skills..

D.) Take a speech communication class.

E.) Observe others who have these desired traits.

F.) Take up philosophy and other related hobbies to improve debate and reasoning skills.

G.) Learn to play chess and a number of other strategy based games in order to hone in on intuitive and strategic skills.

              • The End of Part 7 in my plan.

Plan for Self-Improvement (Therapy, Building Self-Esteem, and the Cultivation of a Strong Inner Self):
                  • Image
          • I.) 4 Targets of Inner Game (Inner Strength) and the Side-Effects:
            • A.) Will Power- Having the power to make a decision and act on it. This simply means having the courage to start something and try it out. Having this skill is essential to being derisive and taking action in your life. This is a key ingredient for starting my plans.

B.) Self-Discipline- The ability to reject instant gratification in favor of a greater goal. This includes overcoming inner and outer resistance, and staying focused on your objective. This also includes the ability to persevere and weather hurt and changes, even when circumstances become difficult. Sticking with things to the end will greatly improve my inner game.

C.) Determination (Having Faith, Being Positive, and Staying motivated) – Determination is the intense and burning desire to accomplish a task. The ability to maintain a strong faith in your self and circumstances is important in succeeding with any task.
              • - The key ingredient in this idea is the ability to remain positive and maintain a positive outlook on life. This is done by having a motivation and inspiration behind your goals.

 - This motivation must align with your personal beliefs and desires. A deep and compassionate belief in what you are doing is something that is invaluable.

 - Staying motivated in the process is done by reviewing what you believe to be the reward and the long-term benefits of having that reward. It is also a symbolic cause behind the motivation.

 - (For example: If your grandfather died of cancer and you wish for no one else to go through that pain. You become an oncologist to prevent others from going through the same situation. Your motivation behind being an oncologist is not something to take lightly but an emotional cause that deeply drives and inspires you to do your best job).

 - Always keep this motivation in mind when you become discouraged. This is essential in helping a person stay on course with their plans, including my self.

D.) Patience and Diligence- No plan occurs in one day, and no plan is implemented over night. Patience is the essential ability to suppress restlessness to remain calm and accept that the given task will take time. This is essential to my self personally, because I have a long road ahead of me. I must be patient and wait for my opportunities. Achieving these opportunities through patience also requires diligence. Diligence is the ability to slowly and properly work towards your goals over time. You do this by taking small steps towards your ultimate objective with a series of smaller and more obtainable goals.

E.) The Positive Side Effects of Developing Inner Game:
              • 1.) The ability to accept reality for what it truly is.

                2.) Having an abundance mentality.

                3.) Self-respect and Self-Confidence (Self-Love)

                4.) And too many other things I can’t name…
            II.) Purpose:

All of my life I have been incomplete, not happy, and internally suffering. I see so much potential and ability in my self. I am wasting it on all this self-pity and inaction. I no longer want to live a life of hurt or regret like many members of my family currently do. I want to transcend this cure they put on themselves. I want to break the mold in my family and become a totally healthy individual who is capable of doing what he puts his mind too. For the first time ever, I just want to be... happy…

III.) How I plan to achieve these feats:
            • A.) Set goals and work towards my plan. (Done)

B.) Join or create a community based organization.

C.) Conduct my ritual which does the following:
              • 1.) Meditation

2.) Self-Discipline and Will Power Exercises

3.) Visualizations of the man I wish to be

4.) Positive Talk that reframes thought patterns and reaffirms
                • a.) Morning preparation and pep talk (speaking positivity into my life)

b.) Nightly desensitization and reaffirmation (Basically overcoming the hurt I gained or felt through the day so that I can wake up with a fresh positive mindset in the morning)

                  c.) This includes the following:
                  • i.) Positive self talk, lifting my self up in the mornings and at night. Things to reaffirm my self like: (I love myself for who I am, I am only human and I will make mistakes in life, etc.)

ii.) I will say 5 things I have recently accomplished and 5 things I have already accomplished in order to show that no one can take these accomplishments from me.

iii.) Say 5 of my most positive attributes and strengths every morning.

iv.) I will say 5 things in my life that make me happy right now. This is a humility exercise. (Family, a roof over my head, food, etc.) This will help me to see the positives in life.

v.) I will say 5 things I want the most at the moment and speak positively towards those things. When speaking positively towards these goals use states like: (I know I can do this, I have already accomplished this, I will have this soon)

vi.) I will say 3 positive things about my family to see the good in them.

vii.) I will give two compliments to my family members every day (once in the morning and once at night) despite how I feel in order to get over grudges and maintain a positive vibe.
5.) Journal Analysis Process (Objective Journaling) - This is done once at night and once by day. This exercise is something to help me (non-emotionally) evaluate my day and I review the statements made from the previous night in the morning to make sure it was a fair and non-emotional assessment of my self.

              D.) The Artistic Process
              • 1.) Emotional Journaling- Saying how I feel. (same journal as poems, songs, and raps)

2.) Writing poems, raps, and songs

3.) Doing art projects like: (Collages, drawing, etc.)
E.) Systematic Desensitization to fears and other concerns (Covered in hobbits post: 1-vt67840.html?start=0 )
IV.) The Tablet of Gaius: My Moral Code
                    • Image
    • 1.) Work hard, try your best, and slave to your passions.

2.) Do not live in fear. Be brave, face the unknown, and tackle your fears. Freely express your self even in times of tyranny and duress.

3.) Be honest, truthful, and humble

4.) Be outgoing, caring, and generous to all life. Always balance the rights of all life to live in equality and freedom.

5.) Do not waste time over bickering and triviality. Be a person of inner harmony and peace. Never purposely instigate conflicts or cause unnecessary disruption in the midst of tranquility, nor should you waste time on instigators and time wasters. Expect disagreements, conflicts, and controversies. They are essential and apart of life’s folly. Remain focused despite these problems and don’t get distracted.

6.) Never move forward without a plan. Have a clear set of goals and a plan for the things you want in life. Implement that plan daily. Be strategic and have foresight while planning.

7.) Love your family with all your heart and help when you can.

8.) Unconditionally love your self, have confidence in your abilities, and trust your judgment. (Have faith, inner strength, and self love)

9.) Accept life for all of its imperfections. You, nor man, nor nature is perfect. No two things are perfect, no two things are the same, and nothing will ever be perfectly planned. Though nothing goes perfect you must accept reality for it really is and act (move forward) despite these imperfections. (Perfect serenity is a myth)

10.) Do not waste precious time and make excuses.

11.) Be positive and celebrate your life’s victories.

12.) Do not tolerate disrespect from self or others. Honor is a precious resource.

13.) Be ambitious and push your life to its limits. Nothing is impossible with the proper plan and time.

14.) Nothing happens over night, be patient and expect to work strenuously for a long duration of time.

15.) Take all layers of your health seriously:
      • - Physical
        - Spiritual
        - Mental
        - Emotional
        - Social
        - Career & Finance
        - Personal Responsibility (Work Ethic)

                  • The End of Part 8 in my plan.

Summary of The Book of Gaius:

The book of Gaius is an undying tale of my determination for self-growth and self-improvement. I have outlined in 8 Chapters (plans) of what I intend to do and how I intend to do it. Each chapter gives a concise focus on a certain subject. It ranges in topics from fitness, to mental health and stability. Each chapter also gives a concise focus on what needs to be accomplished and improved in my life.

In each chapter I list a number of problems and solutions to those problems. Many of the improvements I have made in this book are subjective to my personal desires and wills. This book does not reflect the collective desire or will of men. However, I hope this book serves as an inspiration for many men (in the pick-up community and out side it) to combat their demons and conquer them as they see fit. All in all, The Book of Gaius is a story of a man struggling to fight for his sanity by instating order into his life. May this book be a reservoir of wisdom and a testament to all men’s ability to change, grow, and have iron like resolve.

Sincerely,

Gaius

A Quick Notice:

This will be for clarification purposes only. I will not be conducting all these plans simultaneously, nor do I expect to finish with all these plans while being on this forum for the next few years. Once I am gone, this will serve as a reminder to everyone of what it means to plan and be determined. I will regularly post updates to pre-selected areas of focus and desired progress. At no time will I conduct all of these plans simultaneously as previously stated.

I have no intention on this post being a short-term. I intend for this thread to be a long-term one, and for this book to draw some constructive criticisms. I am a diplomatic and well reasoned person who can accept and tolerate this. I am always open to reasonable suggestions that can make my plan more efficient and time effective.

However, outright and flagrant attacks without founding evidence, support, and well-grounded reasoning will be subject to swift removal from this thread (per administrative request). Any attempts at trolling or distracting my audience will receive removal (per administrative request). I am a fair person who is willing to weigh both sides of every argument. Please do not infringe on this thread with non-sense. Do not abuse my good grace. Come prepared with reasoning and supporting statements is all I ask. I will not tolerate, nor will I take lightly, those who wish to cause confusion and misdirection amongst my regular thread-followers. I only ask that people follow the rules and not ruin it for everybody, thank you.

I thank you all for reading my book and I truly hope you all enjoy it.

Sincerely,

Gaius
