Hmm... you notice a pattern like this it is a great chance to learn more about social psychology. Of all the things I have learned and witnessed about the topic the most striking is that people who put everything down are extremely insecure. In this group it is even more striking because everything will seem like a "bad idea" or "stalkery" if you lack the self esteem to recognize that most people want your attention.
So as a member of our community we owe it to him to help and support him in overcoming that very serious obstacle in his game.
