and how to overcome this issue on FB, i been asking myself since a long time but i'm using a few other sites now and then.
we can slow down the speed of sending messages but how about the number of messages?

Whenever I'm using online dating to sarge, I push for a number within 3 messages...but if she's digging your messages, why not just friend her? OR...even better...say something like, "weird...you keep sending me messages and haven't even asked to be my friend yet." or "Facebook keeps suggesting we be friends...I'm not sure I'm convinced yet"

I think FB uses an algorithm instead. I say this because some days I send out 10 messages and 5 friend requests and not get blocked other times I get blocked for doing this. I think if anything the algorithm is based upon on how much you send messages and/or friend requests in a set time period. So if you send out 20 messages in 30 minutes you most probably get blocked, but if you send out 20 messages in the length of 2 weeks no block.
