I've been trying to find something that I could keep my juggling balls in, along with a notepad, my eyedrops for contacts, gum, mints, etc. As a PUA, you tend to carry a number of things, some of them props, some of them just useful things to keep on you at all times.

I finally found a leather coat today, in a pawn shop, for about $75 because all jackets were on sale. The only thing I would change is the colour, because I wanted that red leather, but its that brown with black flecks. I love it, because its got like 3 inside pockets and a GIANT pouch on either side that easily fit 3 juggling balls in just 1, so absolutely everything I could think of will fit into the thing.

What do you guys use? A big pocketed coat? A prop bag? A backpack?

Soo...what do you guys use for routines? No paper, pens, gum, mints, cell phones, juggling balls, runes, tarot cards? Anything at all that you use in a routine, is a prop. They talk about them a ton in The Game and I'm betting Mystery Method as Mystery is the one that got Style using runes and such.

If i go out i usually have a jacket/blazer on, or pants with pockets :)

I do palm reading for three reasons. One, it can be done anywhere (no need for table or chair or anything). Two, it is Kino and can lead straight to hand-holding. Three, no props needed. Also, it makes YOU more magical, not the tarot or the runes. I carry my gum and mints in my left pocket, mobile in my right, and a small notepad in my back pocket. I don't like the idea of a prop bag, its just not me. It works for some guys but not me. Plus when i go out i tend to have a jacket or blazer or something on, i can use those pockets as well. If i use a prop at all chances are high it is solely peacocking (sunglasses, goggles, etc) and i can therefore wear them.

I carry what fits in my pockets without looking weird. I'm in holland so when I'm out at night/eve, I'm not allowed to ''carry'' anything, no bags, hats, jackets, pouches. All goes into the wardrobe.

When I'm doing something during the day I carry playing cards, weird stuff, whatever I can think of, In my schoolbag, wich is decently trendy.

Sometimes I just use my 1-2 meter long drawing-carrying-thing as a propbag wich is also really peacocky, as only architects and artists use them (also the student equelivants). I also have the biggest one there was, So when it's fully stretched out it really catches attention. Also use it to carry my bokens, As you appearently arn't allowed to carry wooden swords in public. (wonder how those kids get away with it) But I can take the swords out and show them for a sec, and go into my sports stuff.

A smal list of props that I sometimes carry:
-Playing cards (Not always because you get asked to put them away)
-Gum, cheap gum and the new sportlife clash
-My bokens, when I'm going to practise
-deo
-Sunglasses
-Sunglasses with a -3.75 mod because of my bad eyesight
-Drawing equipment, Great for drawing their picture.
-Bottle of water
-Towel
-Leather gloves, 1 white, 1 black. (expensive so again, not in clubs)
-Ipod
-Elastics (sometimes shoot one at a girl to get her attention, But mostly for holding papers in a roll)
-Dance, sports shoes
-Boxes for my Ipod.
-2x2 chessboard Vinyl (fits in the drawing thing and Isn't THAT heavy so I carry it sometimes, hint: I'm a breakdancer.)
-Tape, Both strong and weaker. (taping up drawings, securing the vinyl, and if a girl talks too much get a piece out and pretend to tape her mouth.)

Thats more or less it :P

Wow, like some of those props. The rubber bands and tape are good. She'll just be like, "WTF? Where did you get tape from?! Lol"

Also, I didn't know you can't have jackets or bags or hats at night in Holland. I don't think I ever wanna go there....

Well quite a few stabbings/Shootings happen over here, Also have to pass through metal detectors at every club. Appearently people hide knives or guns under hats :P But it's not that dangerous if you avoid fighting and thus avoid the police, or you just avoid the bad places and keep to the safe spots. Then it's good here, LOTS of good looking babes.

:D he was joking with you. If you've seen the Colbert report you would know Dennis Kucinich is the packet master, because of all of the crap he carries in his pockets.
Not to get your thread off topic but what are the odds Dennis Kucinich is a pick up artist, I mean look at his wife.

Ahh, I get it now. I haven't had cable for several years and Colbert Report isn't one of the shows I download. I hate being out of the pop culture loop.

Everything I carry, ill carry in my pockets. If I had a bag, it would both get in the way, and get lost

I havent amassed enough stuff yet to warrent useing anything other then my pockets.

However i have thought about this. When people talk about having a bag or something to keep their stuff in they dunt meen like having it on their person 24/7 do they? i mean how would you take a bag or something into a club or bar?

Currently i have a really good card routine that requires 21 cards but i usually just take the whole deck, however i only use this trick around my house or in some cases were it makes sense that i bring a deck of cards. I just dont see myself wipping out a deck at a club or bar. i even had a target comment after i did the trick that i should use my tricks to pick up women (i wasnt sure if she was on to me or just being weird) so i said "How do you know i dont, but wouldnt it be weird for me to wip out a deck at a bar?". Then i kinda went funny and started joking about how id take a deck and walk upto random people and have them just be like wtf do you have a deck in your pocket for?

So in anycase id be intrested to see what others do as well.

I used to play ALOT of poker for extra money, so I don't think it's that odd to carry cards in your pocket, I used to always have a deck on me.

Besides that I'm not a real big prop guy, it's a part of my game thats still more in it's infant stages... I do however carry "The Survival Kit" which consists of 2 cigarettes, a 5 stick pack of gum, a mini lighter, a tiny travel cologne, and 2 condoms (never know when one may break)... "Be prepaired!", it's not just a motto for Boy Scouts anymore!

I'm with you. Really, there are only 4 things a man needs. Spectacles, Testicles, Wallet and Watch. :)

If that's your job, that of an entertainer, I don't think it would be bad
to have some sort of stylish bag or a nice coat with plenty of pockets.
You just don't want to look like a streaker. haha I've noticed in some
videos, that Mystery has this nifty cocoon looking backpack. Not sure
what it's exactly used for.

If it's not your job, I wouldn't carry around so much. I do a trick with
2 rubber bands and people always ask if I always carry rubber bands
with me. I mean, if that's outlandish, sheesh...

K.I.S.S. I have a couple of tricks up my sleeve but I just keep it simple
if I carry props. I'll sometimes make sure I have a couple of dollar bills,
some quarters, cigarette lighter, small notepad and pencil and maybe
my Scotch and Soda coin trick.

In general I like to look like I'm not carrying anything and I usually
keep my front pants pockets empty.

Well, the only thing I can't just carry in my pants, is my juggling balls. Strangely no one has ever asked me WHY I have light up juggling balls at a club, but I really don't think anyone cares, because its just so friggin cool. Its great for pulling people into my frame and creating social proof, because typically I get people trying to juggle and occassionally can find someone that really does juggle and that makes for some good social proof and dhv when we challenge each other. I think one of the reasons that no one asks about the balls, is that its a cool hobby, whereas a trick with rubber bands just seems like something you were waiting for the chance to use.
