At school today I got a girls number.
She is in one of my classes and is one of the few attractive ones. She is also a few years older than me but I dont mind

I had never talked to her until today. I got her number after class, but the problem is that I didnt really build kino with her, nor did I convey enough if any sexual interest, aside from asking for her number. We talked and had lots in common (built rapport) but is that enough?

What should I do? I have class in a few days. Should I txt her before then? If so what about?

I love to tease girls. It builds tension and you can go easily from teasing to flirting. The more pretty a girl is the more teasing she generally can take. Do not go too far though cos' you can alienate her by teasing too much..

Kino escalation is essential. Without it I cannot imagine getting a girl.
Be fun and interesting but not in a "try-hard" way as if to show off or impress her! Your jokes and stories should be for your own amusement not for hers! (sure you need to calibrate here)

So yes you could possibly tease her over text message, but if you didn't tease her when you talked to her personally it can go really bad. I prefer to start teasing and flirting right away and then use the text msg. to remind her of the teasing and eventually take it to another level.
