| Hi guys. Been quite a while since I posted. Got some questions. Here's a TL;DR:
Friend of a friend. Just broke up with LTR. Met twice in two weeks through mutual friends. Seems interested or just friendly. Minor 'test-the-water' kino doesn't really produce a reaction, slightly more up-front kino produces her touching where I touched.
A pretty attractive FOAF (friend of a friend) recently became single after a long term on-again-off-again relationship with some douchebag dude. (Literally, having a great time at a party at her house, he walks in, party dies even though it's only 8:30.)
Anyhow, I ended up at a get together at her house last Friday. However, I feel like I cheesed my way into that gathering. Here's why. We'd hung out the previous weekend at our mutual friend's house at a party for another friend returning from the airforce. We got a little high (we're both 420 friendly and don't really drink much) and I told her that I had a source for a product that doesn't come around very often. She asked if, the next time I went to pick up, I could let her know so I could grab some for her. I did and I did. (I'm not looking for judgements on my chemical entertainment of choice.)
The plan was for our mutual friend to be a courier. That didn't work out. I have to assume she was trying to save me some driving because when it didn't happen, I got an invite to her house for a cookout the next night.
It was a small gathering, total of 5 people. I decided I'd play it cool, just be a fun conversationalist and try to kino a little since I'm told (and can easily see) that she's being cautious right now.
Not much went on, I didn't catch any strong IoIs (but then again I had a couple beers and some herb in me so I wasn't paying too close attention) so I didn't push too hard. Basically, beyond hand contact while passing a pipe back and forth I got an opportunity to touch her upper arm during a game of apples to apples. Immediately after she started rubbing where I touched. I have no idea if this is something to read into. At one point it was just us sitting there for quite a while, maybe ten minutes just chatting about books we'd read and loved while everyone else was outside smoking.
Maybe I'm over-thinking this.
