True story and this has happened many times. While walking around the club, girls have noticed my outfit, tie, shirt, teeth, and have complimented me. I have not spoken one word to this girl, but have put my hand out to shake hers, pull her in and kiss her on the cheek. No joke! She opened me, so the game begins then.

I usually say something along the line of "Awww, aren't you a sweetie", "Wow, you have great taste", "Thanks, my mom dressed me" or even a simple "Thank you".

No matter what I've said, I've always pulled them in for a kiss on the cheek along with it.

agreed since you have AA the girl complimenting is approaching you, so you already have one foot in the door so to speak. A girl usually doesn't compliment a guy that she doesn't want to at least invest a few mins in. Just engage her and escalate from that point.
