Out in LA with mah boy Cloud. We stop by a Vegan fastfood chain. An HB9 sits right behind us. "Do I have balls, Cloud?"
"No, you don't."
"God damn it, Cloud. You're supposed to tell me I do, then I get up and approach."
"I'm telling you that you don't so you get up to prove me wrong."
"Oh...ok. Fuck you! I HAVE BALLS!"

I sit down at her table. "What's up? I saw you from over there and thought you were cute. I knew if I didn't come talk to you, I'd regret it for the rest of the day." She smiles and laughs. After an introduction, I ask her if she's from the area. She had just moved in from Florida two weeks ago. "I just landed two days ago from Manhattan." We talk about Manhattan, then about what both of us are doing here. We chat about how she's interviewing in the area and how Cloud, my roommate, is doing the same. It's pretty downhill from the opening.

I probably should've asked her about Florida, talked about hipsters and the one hipster I had met the night before. I could've talked about the highways, about the car crash I witnessed the day before, etc. But my banter buckled under the weight of her sexy and overwhelming HB9ness. She gives me the "I have a boyfriend bit" and I peace out.

Two new people in a city like LA? Sounds like a great opportunity to go exploring the area together. I would of talked about how much you are enjoying the city and then say that you heard from a friend about this great restaurant/club in the area and say something like "I actually plan on going there this weekend. You should come join me, it will be a lot of fun!"

I prefer to learn as much about the girl as I can while revealing little bits about myself. I also would have neged her immediately not told her she was cute of the bat. Like tell her have only seen ur niece eat whatever see was eating n that was cute. Also, it seems like u let the convo get stale. Get her to open up...do some routines...close n bounce unless u can move it to an instant date.
