i really want to loose wait, im kinda fat... not massive but i want to tone up alot...

im thinking about starting gym but i wouldnt really know where to start with the machinery ?

could anyone give me some tips or advice and maybe help me put together a routine for fast and efffective weight loss and tone ups ?

use free weights and do high intensity circuits with exercises that stimulate multiple muscles at once. weights dont have to be overly heavy because you are going for intensity. short breaks between exercises, no more than 10 seconds. also take a look at your diet and cut back/cut out on things like soft drinks and energy drinks

Hey buddy, im gonna start a thread tonight n ill write up all u will need for a proper weight loss diet n work out plan for you. I have been playing sports and working out since I was in 7th grade. Cardio will be your most important exercise for weight loss...you need to train until you can run for at least an hour. Also if you drink, stop. Your just throwin a fuckload of empty calories in your body that way. Go high protein diet as well n eat minimal carbs...like I said I will post a thread that will go crazy indepth n break down what you should be doing and why...this can give u some basic guidelines tho if u wanna go shop for food or whatnot (eggs, turkey, chicken, some beef, yogurt, fruit, vegetables)

You do know HIIT is far more effective than running for an hour?

High Intensity Interval Training...

Basically any cardio like running or skipping at various intensities e.g. moderate intensity running for 1 minute, high intensity for 2 minutes, moderate for another 1 and so on. You work harder but faster.
