Couple weekends ago, met a girl at the bar. She was already an acquaintance of my two friends I was with, so I was introduced to her for the first time. We didn't stay at this bar long so I only got to say "hello, nice to meet you"

My two friends and I moved on towards another bar, and after some heavy drinking I told my buddy to text this girl and get her out. He complied and later towards the end of the night she stopped by. I instantly hit it off with her and we were both having a good time drinking and dancing. Towards the end of the night I got her number from her and we went our separate ways. I texted her while on my way home saying " hopefully you got home safe, sweet dreams". When I woke up the next afternoon I was surprised to have a missed call from her. I returned the call later in the evening and we chatted for a bit. I gave a time constraint and ended the call first.

Over the next couple days we text back and forth. It was minimal, perhaps 3 or 4 a day. She also takes a long time to respond each time. Through the texts I got to know that she was a big hockey fan. Coincidently I had tickets to the next hockey game which fell on my lap 2 hrs before game. It's the playoffs and the tix are lower bowl and fetch about 500$ a seat so I was hesitant to ask her for fear she thinks i'm being AFC and trying to impress her over the top. Nonetheless, I asked her and she accepted the invite.

At the game we were having a good time and she insisted on buying my beer all night since i got the tickets. We both had a bunch of beers then headed out to a local bar for a couple more drinks. She stopped drinking after about 3 beers in which I had about 8 in the same period. I know this was probably a mistake. Regardless I escalated with some Kino and we kissed a few times through out the night and made out just outside her house where the cab dropped us.

Now that I was buzzing pretty hard I made some overly aggresive moves and grabbed a little ass etc which she LMR. I shouldn't have done this anyways as I knew I wouldnt be able to f-close cuz she lives with her parents.

We've texted back and forth since and also chatted on the phone. I invited her to a movie saturday night but she declined cuz she was going on a daytrip across the border early morning. I didn't hear from her the next day or the day after either. So i decided to call and she told me how she had a fever and she missed her daytrip.

Bottom line is that she is responsive to all my texts and playfull as well, chats on the phone etc etc. However, I feel that I'm the one who initiates everytime. Do you think she's interested still? I feel I need to redeem myself from some mistakes in the first date, so was going to try and ask her out later in the week. So should I just stop the texting and phone calls for a couple days until I call her to ask her out on Thursday?

She is also older than me. I'm 23 and she's 27

So I think theres some good and bad things in here. You kissed her which is good, however I think the fact that she didn't propose a replacement day for your date idea at all was bad...

I think her going out with you overall means less because you really demonstrated lower value by just giving her an amazing playoff ticket (hell, I'd probably blow you for a playoff ticket if my team was playing Jk).

I'm no guru but what I would do is: think of something cool but sort of casual to do for a date and invite her along during a weeknight, make sure it's something that she could change the date of easily if she legitimately has plans. If she makes up another excuse without giving you a firm commitment on a replacement date, don't respond to her txt and don't text her for a while. If she really likes you she will text you. Otherwise fuck it, move on to the next girl.

I haven't initiated any contact with her today, and still haven't heard from her. I will try giving her a call tomorrow to schedule some sort of fun date for a weeknight this week as you suggested. Will keep you posted on how it turns out
