This is a great opener:

Walk up to your target and say "Do you know me, do I look familiar to you? Where do I know you from" Pause between each question you don't necessarily have to say all three just watch how the convo goes.

Your target will start tricking themselves into thinking they know you (even if they say no keep going with it) throw out your real name because doing this will make them more curious. Say my name was John Smith and the woman I'm going after will be thinking of all the "John's" and "smiths" she's ever met.

There's a 50% chance she will match you with someone she's met
There's a 100% you will make her smile with this opener start off the convo and enter into your mid-game phase successfully.
