So i met this girl when i was in line for a GGW event. we talked for a solid 20 minutes, she was giving me major IOI, and i teased, negged, and played with her the whole time. she hit my hand and i pretended it hurt, asked her to kiss it, then said "well, my shoulder kinda hurts... "she kissed there, "My cheek kinda hurts.." she kissed there, but stopped at the lips and blew it off jokingly. anyways, we had tons of repitoure, and we exchanged numbers, i put hers in my phone as hot ali, and she put me in her phone as "sexy motorcycle jake"

That was friday night, it is now sunday.. What should i send her a text saying to get the conversation going?

You should have text her on the night, or on Saturday... Just text her asking how her weekend was.

Nah you never want to leave it too late or she's likely to forget who you are. Just ask how her weekend went, use callback humour (anything you teased her about when you were with her, give her a silly nickname or something, just to make her laugh and help her remember you) and don't send too many texts back and forth before asking her for a date

I have this same problem, often number closing and even kiss closing but can never figure out what to say in a message or when to call..

So is it a general rule to text really soon?

A lot of guys will say to wait a few days so that you don't seem needy... I think that's bollocks. The longer you wait the more likely she is to forget who you are. Always text them the same night saying something little like "hope you got home ok". Don't over analyse it. As long as you don't say anything stupid it doesn't matter. Also, don't think that sending a well-thought out text message will make a difference. If she likes you she'll text back even to the most basic text, whereas if she doesn't like you in real life she will ignore everything.
