Though I have added things like exercise, meditation, and reading self-improvement, I've yet been able to include social activities. I know that going to clubs and doing night life type things is not plausible now. Due to my current circumstances unfortunately. But I want include social and charitable activities. I’m passionate about a few subjects: helping people with mental disorders like my self, helping mend the community and families, and less fortunate communities. My only problem is that I am not Christian, nor do I follow any organized faith. Because of this I have evaded charitable works for a long time. My religious ideology is quite important to me, though I am not fanatical person about it.
I simply want some non-religious suggestions that I can try out, and possibilities. Like national non-religious societies, or ways of life that do not include religious indoctrination. Such would prove mighty useful for me and my purposes.
Any suggestions for improvement in my community wellbeing, or my spiritual wellbeing would be greatly appreciated. I am also looking to build a social support network of friends family, any one with this experience please let me know how you've done it. Your wisdom is greatly appreciated in this situation. Also what activities can I do on a regular basis that take up little money and is a good place to hang out?
I thank you all for having the patience and time to read this message.
Sincerely,
Gaius
