So I was out last night and met a couple of girls. At the bar I was talking to one who was smiling at me and I decided to open. All was going well until we decided that we couldn`t get served. I said " first person to get served owes the other one a dance" (this was shit I know) to which she responded with

HER:"I have a boyfriend".
ME: "well he can join us".
HER: "He`s in Spain"
ME: "Well that`s one hell of a commute, I guess it`ll just be us then"

She fucked off!

At which point did I fuck that one up?

Another girl approaches me, we talk...

ME: "Can you prove to me that you`re different to all the other girls here (or something like that)
HER: (responds positively)

We talk some more and then I say I gotta go find my buddies.

I saw her about an hour later and she introduces me to her friend, and then asks me the question that fucked it rrrrrriiiiiiight up...

HER: Now you`ve met my friend...what`s my name?
ME: (thinking OMFG, I can`t remember!) That`s *her friends name*)
HER: Now what`s my name?
ME: (panics) That`s *her friends name*

She puts her hand up to "block" me, and walks off. Her friend then tells her the girls name and I kick myself. Didn`t see her for the rest of the night.

Has this happened to you? What did you do?

Yes its happened to me a hundred time. I have the worst memory (but damn i had a lot of fun). For fuck sake i meet 2 or 3 sarahs and britneys every night. give them nick names or use there last name. there was a great post on this site that talks about using a girls last name.

This is pretty funny, because it happens to the best of us. Especially when you've been talking to girls all night and had a couple drinks.

They say a good trick to remember someones name is to say it three times. The bad part is, you don't want to come across as some weirdo by saying her name three times in a row. So after she tells you, anytime you say something to her, insert her name first.

If that doesn't work, like someone else said, give her a nickname. At one point, I was giving every girl I met the same nickname, and you can probably already guess that this eventually backfired. I later started giving them names based off their personality, something they wore, or someone or something they looked like. Then I just started actually trying to remember their names. The effect you get when a girl doesn't expect you to remember her name, and light up when you do is amazing and the panties literally melt instantly!

i used to forget all hb´s names but then i figured out they REEEALY like it when u say their names its some nlp trick

everyone loves to hear his name so it is the best compliment to say someones name

as thumper gave u some tips u should try to compliment her in that way

Hey Julie, let me ask you a question...
So Julie, you mean to tell me that....
Julie, we really need to....

me and my buddies have a system.. i am not good with names, so i usually remember that i forget there names and play accordingly.. i text my buddy and say come here.. and he knows its on.. he'll come into the set and introduce himself and ask for everyones name while i get us a drink or something, usually in listening distance but back turned from the group.. then i take my pen out and write her name on a napkin and put it in my pocket when i hear her say it..

My friend was notorious with names also. We would do something similar. We'd be talking and he'd tell me he couldn't remember her name. I'd go over and introduce myself and he would just stand there and smile.

I think a girl once caught on to what we were doing and busted him. One of the worst game killers is not remembering a girls name.
