I just thought of something, would like to know what PUA think of it.

Imagine having purchased some new clothes or w/e (in my case a new coat). You ask the girls opinion and if she says she doesn't like it I'd use this to neg her then dhv.

Me: Hey I just bought this {whatever you've got on you, like shoes/hat/clothes}. How do you like it/do you like it? (Start looking like an AFC)

Her: Meh, it's alright/Nah, I don't like it

Me: It's alright, you can't have good taste about everything. But hey, at least you have good taste in men since you're hanging with me!

I think it sounds good, but I'm still not sure about what to say if she likes it, thinking of something like this.

Me: Hey I just bought this {whatever you've got on you, like shoes/hat/clothes}. How do you like it/do you like it?

Her: Yeah, it's looking good on you.

Me: Heh, I guess it confirms you have good taste. It was obvious since you're hanging with me.

So, what do you all think?

I wouldn't consider myself a PUA, but to be honest, I don't like it. You are saying that you're trying to demonstrate higher value, but asking her opinion on something about you seems to demonstrate lower value and like you said, makes you look AFC.

Yeah I'm not sure about the AFC part at first, for sure though this would be horrible for a 1st time opener, but what about a girl your dated for a while or with whom you're in a early relationship with?

I don't like it, if you want to talk about your new coat to your gf or girl your seeing try -

you: hey look what I just bought, but sit down first, it looks so sexy on me, I wouldn't be surprised if you got weak at your knees and collapsed.

her:whatever (any reply really), get over yourself, bla bla bla.

you: (look serious) I'm serious, I'v been responsible for too many injuries already today showing off this bad boy. (make her sit down or don't show it to her)

option 1 - her: its not that good

you: (look really offended but then laugh) your so cute when you joke around like that, that's why were together/friends (watevs).

option 2 - her: I like it

this part is a joke, say anything really be yourself, but id say: thanks baby, but it looks even better on your bedroom floor (insert creepy smile).

I do this thing were I act creepy and call girls baby with girls I know well, its funny. when there talking to much ill also randomly say "shhhhhh" and put my finger up against their lips. then start telling my story, its usually funny but you got to know her and do it right to pull it off.

her: gross/I don't like it

you: my other girlfriends all seemed to like it (but with a playful smile) / or if she liked it - my other girlfriends said the same thing.


but I don't really think you want to ask her opinion as a way to DHV. I don't really know what the point of this is. and you don't care what she thinks, you already bought the coat, it looks good on you. there's no question, if she doesn't like it she's wrong but don't take offence, you think its funny she doesn't like something so attractive but its cool she has opinions, from now on call it "her favorite coat" or what ever item she hates. it if you wanted her opinion you would have gone shopping with her.
