I am new to this and haven't field tested anything, but I have a gig tonight and I'm thinking about possible scenarios that may come up. I'm not looking for random lays, I am actually interested in developing a connection with someone and I'm just using this as a means for me to get out of my shell and start talking to women; not for one night stands.

I've read the newbie challenge and I'm looking forward to trying it, but for now if I muster up the balls to strike up conversation tonight, then I want to know what my options are for getting out of situations like that.

What? Why would you need advice for that? If you don't want to sleep with a girl because she has a boyfriend, then don't sleep with her. Simple. You can end the conversation however you want. "It was nice to meet you" and then walk away.

Also, almost forgot. Depending on the vibe of the conversation, and you think it's a shit test, reply with one of the cocky/funny responses, then ask, "what's his name". Depending on how fast she replies/her type of response, you can usually judge if she's just testing you or actually has a boyfriend.

Ok, cool. That was going to be my next question actually.. How to tell whether it's a shit test or if it's genuine. Are there any other things to look for?

Seriously. I'm a believer in karma; I probably sound AFC, but I wouldn't want to bang a chick with a boyfriend (even though it happens a lot out there in the world).

I prefer girls with boyfriends, I like challenges. I heard a comeback in a bar a few weeks ago. Field tested it twice since then. Worked once, failed the second time. Went like this.

Girl - I've had a boyfriend for the last 2 years.
Guy - That's crazy, I've had a goldfish for the last year and a half.
Girl - ....what?
Guy - Oh, sorry. I thought we were talking about things that don't matter.

^I saw a positive reaction, she started laughing. Didn't stick around much longer to see anything else.

The time it worked, got her number and a few kisses. Time it didn't, owl eyes and a quick turn around. I got a good laugh.
