Guys, i recently made the mistake of calling a girl a " see you next tuesday" its an acronym for the word "cunt" C U Next Tuesday.

when i called her this i was unaware it meant cunt. i thought it meant flakey. Like "hey, lets do something on friday" "nah i cant im busy, ill see u next tuesday"

i dont deny that i was totally ignorant and stupidly used a phrase i dint understand.

At first she didnt know it meant that either..her friends told her. but this was like 2 weeks ago and just recent her brother told me the whole story.

(this is a girl i dated in the past) and i just dont know if i should even say anything eg. apologize and tell her i misinterpreted the saying?

I wouldn't too worry about it, unless she brought it up. If she's offended there's nothing you can do about it, and if she isn't she'll act like nothing happened.

no the scope of the convo was her being flakey. we were talking about hangin out and she was being gay. like making me chase her. then i was like yo, stop being flakey i know u put up this bitch shield to keep creeps and assholes away but you know im niether so how about u lower the shield for a day.

she replied well fine but it can only be for 20 mins cause i have soccer everyday at 230. (she gets outta school at 150)

so i said "forget it. dont do me any favors, besides i dont wanna hangout with a see you next tuesday"

and she was like "fine, see you next tuesday then" i think at first she interpreted the saying in the same fashion i did. having a meaning like "i like you but dont really wanna hangout with u" if that makes any sense.
and were friends, im not interested in getting with her. so im just torn both ways, i kinda agree with you but i also feel like i should apologize

If her friendship, etc.. means something to you then by all means tell her so.

One of the best ways of doing this is to apologize. I can hear some of the guys here now saying 'AFC', 'AFC' which is utter bullshyt.

I don't mean by saying I'm sorry for something you didn't mean. Say you hope she didn't take it the wrong way, because that's not how it was intended.

But you take a risk of course as well. That she'll claim she doesn't know what you're talking about, then you'll have to explain it.

That could be somewhat uncomfortable trying to explain the word 'cunt', and why you didn't mean to call her one. If she's got a sense of humor it could be funny. But of course you can't depend upon a womans sense of humor when it comes to this sort of stuff.

But if she likes you enough you can get away with calling her just about anything within reason. Lord knows I've had some crazy nicknames for girls which I wont mention here.
