Hi everyone,

I recently went to a night club for an end of trimester party. I felt under dressed for some reason and wants to completely change my wardrobe because I absolutely have no ideas about clothing. When I go to a clothes shop I just asked "what will look good on me?" to the staffs.

I usually dress in a fitted white shirt with V-neck cardigan pullover on it and dark blue jeans with sneakers.

are there men's fashion magazine that can be recommended to me? especially for someone with a dark skin?

Thanks

first off don't ask the staff what will look good, they'll just try selling you on the most expensive crap in the shop as opposed to what would actually look good. My advice, take a female friend(an attractive, well dressed one if you have one), or a gay guy friend(once again as long as they have good fashion sense)... Or you could use the clothes shopping experience to open groups, which is also good practice for your day game, look around for some attractive females walking by, approach them with an opener similar to "could I bother you ladies for a minute? I could use a woman's opinion on what would look best on me" surprisingly enough it works quite well.

Thank you for your advice!

I will try it when I go out next to buy some clothes.

Here's a good resource that I use and I know other people on this forum have recommended in the past:

http://www.askmen.com/fashion/trends/

This has everything from trends and styles to grooming tips. Lots of other helpful info on the AskMen.com site too.

GQ magazine!

I read it for pure entertainment but sometimes it packs a little tips here and there.
