Sometime when I've been outside (usually walking) then come in and take my jacket off I eminate a strange smell.

Now first off it's NOT B.O. it's a kind of musky smell, no-one has ever mentioned it and it doesn't last long but I'm wondering what the hell it is and more importantly how to get rid of it!

Does anyone else get this? Is it me? Is it the washing powder I use? Anyone know? I cant type it into to Google because I have no idea how to word it in one sentence! I had a girlfriend once (I could end that sentence there... only joking! Well half-jest...) I had a girlfriend once who said it was a sweet smell. I think she was being VERY biased! It's not sweet, in fact I have no idea how to describe it!

It doesn't rule my life so don't be too concerned. Just wondering how to deter it.

sounds like you're an ALIEN man. a bone uh fide, flying purple people eater. anywho, is it after you have sex? sometimes i randomly smell like the woman from a couple nights ago. OR, it could just be something on the jacket that you mentioned. maybe you used something to keep the jacket lookin fresh? if neither, i'd say check your environs. see what you walk past, brush against, etc.
